Talk to Perro del Sol on here about getting a TWM knob. He is close with those guys--close enough that they give him a paycheck every week, LOL. And he is the Godfather, takes care of things, ya know what i'm sayin? I see a black pearl bombshell in the future....not soon but eventually!

Picture is fine for me...it is not of a donkey LOL...I'll work on it a bit tomorrow
Brakes should be a fun job, and too expensive for me to want to think about right now with my leaking struts...

When you are ready let me know Chippy, Lauri will have her Black Pearl Desert Storm Knob on Wednesday! You know you'll be well taken care of when the time is right.

Hmm, I didn't know you had a build thread up in hurr. Looks cool so far, besides the lack of major engine building going on, but LMS can help you out.

Brakes shouldn't be too bad at all. Pads should be pretty cheap, unless Evan 1 talked you into the track stuff. I'd rather get the soft pads, they burn up faster, but they give more grip, and they don't eat up your rotors . Plus they're cheaper. And they're an easy install.

will do, speak of the devil, look who chimed in above me, hah.

btw, cool plans about the wrap and interior work! cant wait man.

You've got an awesome girl, James. Some of the girls that ride in my car have actually complained about it being low, or bumpy..

+1

Although the ride may be lower and firmer, a lot of cars actually have better ride quality after coilovers. It might be a more bumpy, but at least the car isn't bouncing up and down a lot LOL Plus, most coilovers let you adjust, so for the street you can set them softer. Then when you go to the track, you can set them very firm :) I'm starting to save money now in my piggy bank. Can't wait for coilovers!

Psh, what is this softer you speak of? I've had my Illuminas set to 5 (stiffest) the entire time I've had them and don't ever plan to change it. People can deal, yo!

Wow i actually really like the green paint on the wheels, it stands out as different, but looks pretty sick. The oz's look good too

OMG! After the coilovers he's buying her a ring! Holy crap! HAHAHA!
Sometime that will be my next mod...it's called the family mod...adds 10 HP

Werd. I know I haven't done a lot to my car, but just about everything I've done has made the car less comfortable. Rear motor mount makes the car vibrate like a mofo, intake and BPV make "annoying" loud sounds. The only thing that actually feels improved is the shifter with tranny fluid. But I love the harshness and rawness of my car.

Thank you! It seems a lot of people paint their wheels green because it is a current fad, trend, or the 'cool' thing to do. I'm not really like that, but I wanted it to be something fun. Honestly I feel it is ricer-esque, but I did it because it brightens up the dullness of the winter months-makes the cold more exciting, ya know? Thanks for the kind compliments on the wheels. I cannot wait to see the OZs with proper rubber this spring (and coilovers...)

I really like the green wheels too. Black, White, and Silver cars IMO are the only cars that can get away with ridiculous neon colored wheels LOL. I want to paint my stockers, but I'm not sure what color would look good. I should go with Green....I'd look like a friggin Christmas Car!!! HAHA Let me swap your wheels on one day for an xmas photo shoot lol

It may add 10 HP, but all that extra weight from the old lady and the rugrats makes it feel like you've lost HP. :-)

You definitely should come out my way for a day to swap wheels and do a photoshoot. Or I can try to make it to LMS one day. That would be epic! Put it on your Xmas card and send it to people...

Yea i gotta black mica ms3 as well and i wanna paint my wheels to somethin unique as well too stand out. Im not sure what color yet tho, but paint is cheaper than new wheels, that i cant afford at the moment lol.

For those of you who have seen my knob cover, my girlfriend's mother will hopefully be knitting a bunch of them for some car guys I know. If you are interested in getting one for cheap, PM me for details.

Hell ya!! I was actually just thinking about asking. I've come up with a temporary solution since the TWM shift knob is FREEZING cold compared to oem. I just un-screw the knob and bring it with me inside when I go to work, home or class HAHAHA!!
