What have you done to your Miata today?

Got my new-to-me Miata home. I sold my blue 1990 and got a red 1991 with a hard-dog roll bar, hard top (needs some cosmetic repairs), clutch-type LSD, KYB shocks, turbo and Megasquirt ECU.

Nice, any pics?
It's on mechanical bypass for now, I hope to get a boost control solenoid on in the spring and refine the MS tuning.

Really no worse than where the MSM intake is. Hahaha.

I like how they used the Protege BP valve cover on it. Different.

Looks nice and clean. The intake looks to be in a bad place? Right behind the rad?

It's nice and clean except for the trunk, which needs a lot of TLC. I hope to score an eyelid vent and/or some turn signal vents to help that out a bit.

I recall the seller saying the valve cover was from a Ford, but I'm not sure. I think the same engine was used in all three.

Yeah, the Escort had a very similar valvecover to the Protege. The engine is very similar across all 3. Differences like intake, exhaust manifolds, etc.

Finally managed to get my hands on a later NB exhaust mani before someone else did. It will be the first in my pile of parts for this trip.

long day ... went to eagles canyon raceway to watch a charity race in decatur, tx

Changed the rear diff fluid. Man does that stuff stink. Damn Eibach coilover is leaking again.

So... I'm currently trying to make a decision for my MSM.

Buy tires for the OEM 17's
Buy tires for my old 5Zigens 16's
Buy 15's and tires.

I guess it's really going to depend on how much I actually get for the expat bonus and the hardship bonus. If I get what I think I may get, then I should be golden.
