What have you done to your MSP today?

Left my parking lights on all night, luckily my car started this morning but now it takes longer to start. First start: engine turned over once.. stopped and started clicking, turned over two more times and finally cranked. Every start after that just takes longer than usual: engine slowly turns over twice then maybe two or three more before finally cranking.

The disadvantage of having a turbo timer: getting out of your car while it is still running=no warning beep inside the car if your lights are still on

WOW, 600 bucks!!!! that is expensive. But I guess that does include food and all utilities. I got lucky and While im in college I found a nice apartment old but nice and close to campus and i split everything with my GF. After I pay my part of everything Its just north of 200 bucks. lol.

600 is insanely expensive...you can rent an apartment with utilities and internet for like $200 less then that a month
your parents are tryin to rip you haha

Right Now I would have 120$ a month extra to spend on what I want if it is 600$ rent..... Not good.... Not at all.

Well kinda car related.... Parents are making my rent 600+ next year a month! FML! so Less car parts to LIVE AT EFFIN HOME! FML.... I want to move out. haha

whatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt?! i live at home and i'm 21, don't have to pay ISH. but i do go to school full-time and only work part-time.

i'm moving to FL next year probably - and only am going to be paying $200/month more than you do to live @ home...

and live in a 1bed/1bath with THIS VIEW:

with all the money you spent on your non running car... you could live somewhere else for a year then!

I fail to see how any of this is MSP relevant.
lol

it is the story of anybody with a msp. no money for anything else!

also, 600 bucks would be sweet. it has been 6 years since i have been able to live that cheap. but that was a 700 sq ft apartment with 3 people in the middle of nowhere. im much happier with nearly 3000 sq ft.

to keep somewhat on topic, the rest of the money i have saved up for car modding/repairing will be put to use somewhere else. Aslong as nothing goes wrong or I get a more permenant part-time job I'll be ok.

Need to start getting everything ready for winter (switch hood & trunk, put on winter wheels, do the brakes & oil then wash and wax) should have that done by the end of the week

The search for winter tires is underway. I'm going with stock tire size for my racing harts (215/45/17) which I wish I had the money to powdercoat since they look like s***... maybe next year. I've been running different versions of Hankooks for years now and I like them minus the bad mileage they get. Though these are only winter tires so they will last hopefully 2 winters for me. Any suggestions on specific brands? I'm looking for a straight winter tire, not all season.

Yesterday I finally changed the oil , put on a new KL V6 filter, aired up the tires and washed it. It runs good, although almost every time after driving I smell a burning smell. I think there is a small oil leak coming from somewhere on the back of the block and it's burning a little oil when the engine is hot. Any common spots to have an oil leak? I know it's not from the front main seal and all the bolts on the oil pan are tight. Possibly the oil feed line for the turbo?

I have Dunlop Grasspic tires on my RH rims. They are really good in the snow and on ice. It is funny seeing my MSP passing trucks on the country roads in the winter when they are full of snow. Great tires. Hopefully this will be the last year if winter driving for my MSP.
