What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I'd e-mail them back and say, "Well, in that case, I'll just buy the core for $100; I'll get the piping kit elsewhere. I wonder if the Altered Customs kit would work..."

-Jay

thats why i emailed them, because they have the kit to accept the OEM bpv, where as after buying the altered customs kit, i'll still have to go buy another piece and build my own piece

They didnt answer my questions. They said it is bolt on fitment and I could see there pics for reference. My guess is the air diverter will have to be removed. No way a 7" high core doesnt hit it.

I have a 6 inch tall core and the air diverter needed to be trimmed and the IC is actually about 1/4 of an inch above where the bottom of the crash bar is. I notched it a little, as seen in the pic.

Here is what my setup looks like. its back quite a ways from the bumper, closer to the ac condenser.

Im gonna assume from my results that the core is going to stick about where boosteds did and the diverter will need to go. So better get the nextmod lip so it atleast looks like its in a decent location and not below the bumper. lol.

CD wont help me much at the moment... netbook = no disk drive hahah i'll try a few more times to register/ give their tech support a call if needed
Something is wrong with the msd dashhawk site, I am registered already and it tells me that I'm not and won't allow me to re-register on my new comp. I no longer have the disk either :(

MSD discontinuted their Dashhawk support quit awhile ago. If you are still in need of the most updated firmware for your dashhawk let me know i have the file on hand.
as well, a local club member uploaded the file to a server if you wanna try this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12068991/v251setup.rar (unzip it like a zip file, if you dont have a .rar extractor, you can download them for free).

also if you are running Win7 you need to do this: http://www.msdignition.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9623

Its about time.

CXracing now makes a custom fmic for the speed6 if people didnt know this. I was just looking through youtube and found this vid. Below is a link of the website.

It has been around for a bit, one of my local club members was the prototype for it, his thread was here on m247 about it too :p
you do indeed need to do a tad bit of cutting, but SUPPOSEDLY you shouldnt have to cut the crashbar... as for sitting behind the bumper idk i havent seen the fitment in person yet, i would hope not...

i believe you. but it seems that corvette has been nothing but a money pit for him so far.

Yeah, it sounds like it was beat to hell before he bought it, and now he's been fighting an uphill battle to get it back to decent shape. I do agree that the back and forth, almost daily "mood swings" are a bit old.
