ive been looking around pittsburgh all spring and the cheapest is still 2g's and thats one with 150+k and a lil bit of rust on the body

yeah i know best time to buy a convertible or a bike is in the fall cause some guys dont want to store them etc etc

pittsburgh just has such an inflated price on every miata ive seen

yeah but finding a vert rx7 in decent condition is easier said than done and i could have bought a miata + wheels and coils for what the average vert rx7 is going for that i see

MonkeyAss, you can always buy a Miata around our house and store it alongside Kevins RX7 for the winter. Just slap a car cover on it and I can fire it up and let it idle once a week like I do with Phens cars. Just throwing that out there. I'm sure Phen won't mind either.

The 'Verts are easier to find than the regular coupes around here. The problem is people seem to have an inflated idea as to what the price of a 20 year-old car is. With a little bit of work you should easily be able to find a S5 'Vert in good condition in the $3000 price range.

I didn't buy anything yet but the list is so damn long already and I'm months from even owning one! Short shifter, shift knob, shift boot, JBR mudflaps, intake, wheels, tires etc. I'm gonna stay away from big mods completely.

I'd try and make it but I work 12-9p Friday and then back at it 8a-4p Saturday. No time in between for concert/car show/partying... I'm lame

Oh and I wrote a wishlist of stuff for my MS3...weighs in just under $4000... I think I actually did pretty good. And it should get me a good handling, close to 300whp car! But remember I already have wheels and such, so that's another grand...wowza
