What have you done to your MSP today?

installed a Custom Part I CNC'd :) Its AWESOME! lol! Pics of it one day hahaha.

But I am trying to clock my turbo (GT30) correctly and install the wastegate correctly... Anyone have any pics of a GT28 with the wastegate Mod'd so i can try to compare them? It will help because its confusing me to make it fit right haha.

seriously? ban.

Then you would never get a pic, So LAME BAN REASON! lol

But its just something I made, well me and my dad cause he knows that s*** cause hes been doing it for 30+ years haha, and im just learning :P But it for my Oil Temp Gauge. It screws into it and screws into the Oil Wedge thing that is under the filter that I got for my Oil Temp and Oil Pressure Gauge's. But since the fitting was to big on the gauge I made something for it to all fit in :D

yep just a random connector. It was a good learning part though haha. It looks good though.

But no one answered what I really need :(

How is there no "how to" for a GT28 or GT30? So sad.

Yeah I clock it and everything but The position of where the hot pipe would go out of I do not like, and it doesnt fit due to the Wastegate hitting the block. The best position i found it was when the hot pipe would be in stock location, and the wastegate would fit perfect but the bracket was to far out and wouldent go right.... So im thinking of making a custom bracket unless Sam can help me make it work better.

And anyone have a pic of which hose the Water inlet for the turbo goes to? and the water outlet, which for some reason i dont have a water outlet, gotta talk to sam about that because i thought he supplied everything i needed for it. But the Oil inlet and outlet I got in good with (just gotta cut down the braid for the outlet cause he supplied a long one so it fits to the oil pan not the wedgetray) But the coolant part of the turbo doesn't flow right for me... Theres a two holes one on each side, and im guessing its gravity fed? lol! so i have the inlet on the top which i dont know where the tube is for stock (it goes from the side of the head but There like 4 hoses there, which one?) But the outlet I have no clue about. I should of took pictures of this before i took it all apart hahaha.

I just got off the phone with sam, My Housing is the same as the GT28's (aka AR60) so I should be able to make it fit, but i have to Mod my hot pipe later down the line... So I guess i gotta go back tomorrow and make it all work, well try to. haha

car is still at the body shop, roof should be done tomorrow and the car itself should be ready for paint by the middle of the week and back in my hands after that. I can't wait, still gotta put the AEM UEGO in and fine tune my SSAFC to my mods. After that, a few dyno pulls and then Friday Night Test N Tune at the local dragstrip.

Side Note: may be getting a built motor from a local friend that hasn't put it in his p5 yet and is about to sell his p5 and get an evo 8. Just a heads up, his MSP turbo setup may be up for sale on here pretty soon if it is not sold locally. If things go as planned and I get the block, look out, GT3071R, bigger injectors, Haltech sprint 500 and a Mfactory diff will be coming soon after that.

outlaw, you have to have he turbo oil drain and feed vertical, otherwise the oil wont flow through the turbo correctly and you'll be buying a new one pretty soon
i think its like +or - 15 degree's is acceptable....the coolant will flow through the turbo fine, that doesnt have to a certain angle, the coolant outlet goes into the little 90* coolant hose that connects to the metal pipe coming from the thermostat, you SHOULD have that, msp's came with it

got back from my weekend trip to indy and a stop at my grandparents on the way back. the exhaust is a little too much for long trips i think so so sound deadening in the trunk is needed. My grandma left me speechless when she said "Where's your hub caps? I think you got jipped out of your hub caps."

just put the 2003.5 lip on my car and im loving it , it changes the whole look of the bumper , in a good way
