What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

u love my dashhawk, gives me piece of mind that i can monitor stuff and set alerts for things.
like right now im knocking like mad, and i think i know why...

and luv logging data to figure out how/what to improve.
as for the hypertech vs the cobb AP. It's easily fact that the AP can do more... the hypertech can POTENTIALLY do more than it currently does, but who knows much more work the firmware and featuers will get in the future. as far as i knew, it was only usable with a very limited couple of tune maps.

i am on msf too, but i have lost track of the hypertech thread.

Really? Because when they first announced sales of it they even said themselves that it was mainly for those who have minimal mods who want some quick power and was not intended for those with heavy mods.

yay, well im not a "series performance" person. lol
im just curious how difficult/dangerous it is to custom self tune with a cobb ap.

still mostly leaning towards a hypertech, but things may change by next year when i buy one.

Boosted can make maps..

aye tahts what i mean, not a huge following of ppl making their own maps due to the complication of it all and the risks that you can run of screwing up the ECU controls real bad...

Rolled my fenders today :) cleaned her up a bit too. The black cloth interior sure does pick up a good bit of little pieces and stuff.

imagine how my dark color and interior builds up dust.
my offices are inthe middle of a business district where tons of semi trucks drive through.
the parking lot is right @ an intersection which has deep rain gutters.
So EVERYTIME a semi passes through (every 5-10 minutes) it SLAMS into over these gutters kicking up dust in a 100 foot radius.

in other words, every 5-10 minutes EVERY day at work, my car gets a new layer of dust washed over it.
and worse if i kept windows open for the HOT hot california summers, getting the interior a sickly light brown coating.
*sigh* my california dust mop gets overworked. i know lots of explanation, im bitter. LOL!

Didnt make it out to the track today. Did some datalogs this morning. +18 ltfts cruising! Got the fuel trims squared away and the car feels great. Put on a new HD lip this evening! I did a better job last time on it. but it turned out fine.

^great sig. lol

+1 :D

Also, installed the ebay LED tail lights.....if you ask me, they look great and I paid less than half of the CAR_LED lights

Went to Mazda so they could indeed confirm my driver side front drive shaft was leaking. Going to get that and the clutch TSB taken care of at the same time. Here's for hoping for a loaner.

Oh wow those tails look nice! Especially tinted. I have my stock ones tinted but those go through the tint very nicely. I constantly get told I'm driving with my lights off by cops, haha.

Made it out to the track today and made only one pass. Not too bad for my first time ever at the track. I know I can do better. I ran right through the water. lol. Damn those yellow lights come fast. As soon as I saw the first one I mashed the gas and just got launch control to kick in before the 3rd yellow and l let out the clutch. And of course I had to miss 3rd gear as well. It was pretty damn fun though. Even after the 1/4 mile mark I kept going until I hit 140 just for the hell of it. lol That track is a grippy bastard. I was still slinging rocks for miles after I left.
