What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Washed and put a second coat of wax on. I also took some protectant to the black trim pieces that had oxidized a bit. Followed that up with a quick photoshoot around town...

heading back to to the 1/4 mile tomorrow if the weather permits.. any suggestions/tips on getting it off the line? i'd like to dramaticly improve my times
 
Thanks, Steve! I still haven't put your springs on yet. They're sitting in my basement next to my washes and waxes and they mock me every time I'm down there... (notcool)

Hell, I forgot all about you getting those. Did you ever put the DH and mount in?
 
Sure did... Remember...? (cool)

The only thing that has changed from this picture is my HTC Incredible has replaced that Garmin. It's replaced a lot of my electronic gadgets, actually.

It's approx a tenth for every 100lb's so I'd def take the loose heavy stuff out before you go to the track. No more than a 1/4 tank of gas either, best to have to fill up as soon as you leave the track.

Put on AWR lower engine mount, changed the tranny,transfer case and rear diff oils. good thing next time i have to do that is in 30k miles...
 
Finally got my windows tinted...20% all around(except for the windsheild of course)...its a ticket waiting to happen, but I LOVE the way it looks....
 
following the trend for the third week in a row my first rip up the track was my fastest @ 14.8 in the 1/4mile... the lane i was in most of the time was quite wet resulting in some wheel spin finally.... although one run people noted that only my front wheels were spinning for some reason

anyways i think thats it for my racing this season... i'll attempt it again next year after beefing up all the mounts that are nesicary
