What have you done to your P5 today?

Hardly something new, yellow headlights remind me of the stupid hondas around here.

I live in the california desert, we get nothing but clear skies and burning temps, neither of which require yellow anything.

yea...its annoying actually, i had 10000k but then i noticed alot of hondas started getting them, so then i switched to 3000K, and now all the ******* hondas have those too

i cant escape them :(

I had yellow bulbs in my Honda back in 2001. My other Honda friend got them from the motorcycle shop he worked at. Then it started catching on around the local area and I went back to Silver Stars.

I tried yellow bulbs in my last Honda but a lot of people kept telling me my headlight lenses were foggy and I should clean them. heh-heh, so I just went back to Silverstars again. But the yellow bulbs are really helpful in crappy conditions.

So yeah, I was one of those Honda guys with yellow bulbs, but this was 9 years ago.

im real tempted to get myself some 3000k bulbs rather than doing a retro. got 6k now but the idea of having yellow headlights is very intriguing.

Why not do both (thumb) Really though, my 3000k fogs are plenty bright in rain/snow/fog... enough to where 3000k for headlights as well might be overkill. I ran just my fogs down a side country road at night after I got mine... no need for the headlights, hella light output.

my 3000k fogs are just halogens, didnt buy the 3000k hid kit. i wanted them more for the look and to use them as DRLs instead of just fogs. I prob will pick up the bulbs off ebay for the headlights though, $15 isnt bad to just see how they look

i picked up brand new HID bulbs for 13 shipped. Cannot beat that. I can buy any color I want and switch them up whenever. 5 years ago, it would cost 5-10 times as much.

Hell yea. s*** was like $200-300 for HIDs

Took off the harness bar, finished the hella horn gonna install tomorrow. Sent the fogs off to scott1986, getting his fog deletes in exchange. And removed all exterior
Vinyl

do you have the exact link to the sellers page on ebay or where ever it was? I want to try some 3000k myself :D there are so many listings on ebay, id rather get ones i know work.

i'm getting a really annoying buzzing and it sounds like it is coming from under the shifter? gonna take a look under there after work tomorrow. I love having access to lifts (yippy)

i also washed it, got all those stupid bugs off.

could be the shifter hitting the heat shield or a rock got stuck up there and is hitting the shifter. when i ripped out my heat shield (2 of the 4 bolts were rusted in place and i literally had to rip it out) i found rocks the size of my fist and the buzzing was gone

id have to look around for it, but i remember a few years ago a company had any color HID you wanted, including green, pink, red, blue, the works... wouldn't mind a set of red for my high beams since i don't use them any more. I would probably just turn them on a car shows/meets but have them aimed super low

i went for an alignment and finally both ball joint were really bad so thats going to cost me 400+ for everything(both control arms+alignemnt)...FML lol.

What would have happenned if one ball joint went out or broke...

You may be replacing a fender too...

I lost a ball joint in my Rabbit several years ago. Wheel assembly whipped back and smacked the fender hard enough to cave it in.

I lost a ball joint in the miata a couple years back. Banged up the fender real bad, destroyed a wheel (the rotor basically machined its way through the wheel), put a couple holes in the brake dust shield from it hitting stuff it normally won't when the suspension's working like it should, etc. Yeah... bad juju.
