I painted them...WHITE!

Looks really sweet I think. Not really a fan of the rear one being white, but the front one looks really good. (yippy)

Thanks!

One pic with the hood open, one pic closed (from the same position.) Photoshop merge the two together, set feathering and delete the hood.

Turned out OK, but the pic was underexposed unfortunately. I'm doing a photoshoot Sunday so we'll get some better ones then. I'm also missing something in this picture...can you find it?!

Nice.

Other than forgetting to mow the lawn and organize those plants next to the car.... lol... emblem on the front.

F^%$ those plants! That's my neighbors yard. Mine is on the other side of the driveway. If I touch those plants she knows it. Also has a crabapple tree that drops little s*** apples on my car and they splatter and stain my paint. She has an outdoor motion-sensing light that goes off everytime I get home or leave.

BAD NEIGHBOR!

uh oh... splattering and stain paint... that branch would of been cut off by now. Invades ur driverway. Motion-sensing light facing ur house too... SMH. would of broken it if it hadnt been taken down or faced the other way. But thats jus me.

Wats up with u and the guns? lol

they both have a trigger... lmao... i did say the first one I saw... i looked it up again and saw others that looked no where near like a gun.

my bay's starting to look good with the addition of my blue AEM sri and matching blue bracketed cusco tower bar, and i have a painted valve cover on the way. now i'd really like to start fixing up my engine bay and make it look as good as some of those posted on this thread, but as it hasn't been cleaned in ages, some of the bolts have developed rust. can anyone please me to a source that sells chromed bolts and washers to replace those currently in the valve cover and heat shield of my FP-DE 1.8l? a fitment or application chart would also be very helpful. thanks a lot guys! hope to be able to post a nicer pic here too as soon as i get this done!

^^^Don't buy chromed bolts, you'll pay out the ass for them. Zinc plated bolts will be fine. Metric stuff is what you need, M6x1.0, M8x1.25/1.50, and so on. Best bet is to replace them as you do maintenance - i.e. valve cover gasket, etc. Take one of each with you to your local hardware store, and if you don't know the sizes just tell the staff there you're looking for metric bolts to match yours.

Junkyard is also a good source. The Mazda 929 and other cars used a lot of stainless steel allen-head bolts that look real nice, 2 decades later.

My current pic - finished the turbo pipes, including the 4" downpipe. Still have to weld up the wastegate exhaust pipe and the coolant hard pipes, then it's on to intercooler water lines.

^That's beastly. This is your drag probe, correct? What's the hood look like to fit that massive IM?
