AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

You do look a little naked on the avatar side...

Going to make some changes today. Maybe ill post up the map for anyone else intrested in SC.

i think i found it on the SSAFC. Cell 3500rpm @-9.5psi is where it keeps hanging up. thats where the problem is. the current setting is at 8.9 Should i raise or lower it?

(going lean just at that point)

im pretty sure you raise it. value of 10 is stock fuel and going below that is taking fuel away and going above 10 is adding fuel

to be honest, I have no idea. apparently complaints were lodged against me (I believe because I was being a stickler about being on topic), however I didn't bother trying to pursue the issue as it happened the same week that my grandfather passed away. I tried to get it reinstated (primarily to keep this thread updated and navigable) but received no reply from Antoine regarding it.
damn that's stupid, some people are babbies..I know I have strayed sometimes a little off topic, and I don't like doing it at all, so I try not to, but if I do, I am not surprised if anyone says anything about it.. it's just the way it is

ya raise it, I mean unless you have 440cc injectors and some other stuff.. that is pretty lean.. but ya just keep the transition between the other cells smooth.. the smoother, the better

are you supposed to set the ssafc numbers all back to ten after you reset the stock ecu? i reset my ecu by disconnecting battery and after all the fuel cut and s*** for 40 miles it stopped spuddering but then i got bad AFRs, in boost 10 or less, it was normal for out of boost though.

I get that sometimes, it just runs like s*** after I reset the ecu.. don't set them all to 10... ever.. but just reload the map.. should help

alright, just to make sure, after loading the customer you click to view fuel map then write to ecu correct? is there anything else? i have profile all setup to specs, and whats wtih map b? do i have to do anything with that? its all at 0

I just installed my ss afc and love it. I am running stock boost and stock injectors with an Injen CAI, SMIC, and soon to be putting in JSPEC cams from Corksport. I am looking for a good map to help get the most out of my car. PM me with any help you can offer. Thanks.

map b is only used if you have the afc with timing. If you don't have the version with timing, map b is useless

you should get stock supermap or one of the ones on the first page, and tune it yourself, but do not do anyting unless you have a wideband

been awhile since i looked at the first page,

lcruz64........ hell of a nice job with keeping all the maps and info organized.

lol.. ya that was Wagon.. (with a little searching from me(lol2)) but ya.. Wagon you need that moderator status back so it can stay organized.. I kinda want to apply eventually, I just need to make that Vibrant How To:.. and the oil catch can/coolant overflow tank install custom brackets How To: also.. I have it in writing and the pics, just need to do it

oh and thecrash.. that is all you need to do

so what am i doing wrong, its been 60 miles after i reset my ecu and my afrs suck ass still, i have sent the map to ecu about 7 times already i even changed the map to give less fuel (eventually went from a 9.7 number to a 9.4) and NO CHANGE AT ALL, its the same EXACT afrs, i get 10 or lower until 5.5krpm when it goes to 11 but thats the highest i get, and i know now that this is whats been causing my cel for bank 1 rich, because i went 60 miles with only going into boost like 4 times (it was sooooooo hard) then when i did 4 hard pulls to test afrs it comes back (last time it came back after 40 miles i barely boosted then too) and first time it came back on in 4 mile (boosted a LOT haha) wtf am i doing wrong? do i have to wait for my ecu to completely reset?

you shouldn't be getting a "too rich" that's just really weird, and honestly I didn't even know they had a too rich cell.. I have fuel cut all the time and in my brother's msp with the 400cc injectors have had it bogg down like crazy and never got a CEL for being too rich, first of all, I would check your coil packs.. those seem to go bad a lot and cause really rich and bad afrs, and is mainly noticeable in boost.. so I would switch those out...

you shouldn't be going from 1 fuel cell to another with such a drastic change.. I noticed that when I tried to add fuel at like 6.5k rpm so that it would go around 11s and not 11.8-12 afr, the more drastically I changed it from the previous fuel cell values, the worse it got, it would just get leaner and leaner for some reason.. so I went back and made a more smooth transition and it worked... I would change the coil packs and then start from a less modified fuel map, like I said, the fuel cell values between "touching" fuel cells shouldn't really be at a difference of more than +- .2, if you can, keep it at around .1 and gradually change them.. it is also a lot harder for you since you can't data log, but I noticed that when the lower psi ranges are still rich, it can cause you to bogg down when you go into boost... so I would work on tuning your lower boost values throughout the boost range, it helped mine a ton.. also I just saw you have the 450cc injectors.. start with the 440cc map, and the ones I have looked at, at much much lower fuel cell values than 9.4 or whatever you said, some of those are in the 8s and stuff.. but look at those maps and try them out

I am going off the tune HondaEat-R sold me the car with, however I dis buy a new Maf sensor. I don't notice any other bogging however, wouldn't I get random misfires if it was coil packs? Are tere any actual tests I can do? I'm kinda really pressed for money. You know. College. Lol

ya I just graduated from college, um you have a wideband, I noticed that when it was the coil packs that it would go from really rich, "10" then to a sudden "--" super lean, which I assume is the missfire.. I guess your best bet would be to ask HondaEat-R

i dont get that at all, this is driving me crazy, do you guys find it that your afrs dont go back to what they were before resetting ecu for a certain amount of miles?
