Awesome. It appeared to be (plus that dead straight exhaust that hangs a foot under the floor screams Ferrari).

Morning gang!

Indeed it is. I had the complete personal tour of F40 Motorsports in CT. Owner is Wayne Carini of the TV show Chasing Classic Cars. I've met him quite a few times at different events. He was actually busy polishing a car. ;) If you have ever seen the show you'll recognize the shop.

Next time you are around my area, can you hook me up with those guys? I've always wanted to tour their shop.

oh man. those things were mechanical nightmares, but god damn what a sexy car.

And very non forgiving to drive. Certainly not a Grand Touring machine, but what a beast. I remember as a kid having Countach posters and magazine cut outs all over my walls. In fact I have a few photos of it. Lol.

Sean, ask for George. Tell him your a friend of Luke and Josh.

Finished installing the brake line and bleeding the brakes last night. Much better now than before but still need to bleed a little more out of the front.

Tweaked my shoulder somehow last night (old reoccurring injury)... which sucks.

Yeah yeah..... Not like you haven't made a few double posts either. My phone has been acting up lately.

Morning all. InLaws arriving later today. Will be looking forward to AutoX tomorrow. Hard to believe next week is August!!

So I put in for early work day today so I could go to the races except it's NEXT WEEKEND. .........I'm an idiot.

Oh well, this weekend would have been perfect weather. Now I have nothing to do all weekend. Fark.

For Gary:

During the Brumos Porsche 250 on July 3, team owner Will Turner wrapped a frozen hamburger patty in aluminum foil and taped it to the floor panel of the team's No. 94 BMW M6, which was co-driven by Bill Auberlen and Joey Hand. Turner got the idea following a radio transmission at an earlier race this season run in sweltering heat.

Turner and the team kicked it up a notch for the NJMP 250 presented by Crown Royal at New Jersey Motorsports Park on July 18. For that race, Turner prepared a thin chicken breast, smothered in barbecue sauce, which Hand, Auberlen and the team enjoyed post race following a fifth-place run.
