I'm all for that!! Better light output is always a win!!
But if you don't like covers what about color matching the housings? The black does seem a little out of place against that blue there, imo. That might homogenize the look a little better.
The wheels are a different story. They're wheels and look good in black.

i've seen a few color matched and they look more like the corvette and it just isn't my personal taste.

I like the blue/black theme going so i'm gonna roll with it, but that thought of color matching HAD crossed my mind
