What have you done to your P5 today?

I removed the restrictive factory intake muffling "system". Found a dead critter in the part that covers the radiator. He'd been there a while.

No HP gain but I get that throaty intake noise now.

oh.. you weren't asking about the intake manifold.. you were asking about the air intake.

yeah, that came off pretty quick..

Bike rack pimpin'.

I don't mean to sound like a d-bag, but it seems like a lot of cats are putting bike racks on lately. I hope you guys are avid riders and not just putting bike racks on the VW fads...

Anywho- I stopped at Home Depot tonight and bought an oil catch can parts. The compressor catch can, fittings and tubing was all $20. I'll put it on tomorrow and post pics.

HKPRO5, that's badass you got a supercharger kit. I saw your post while back about your "SC" but didn't want to ask if it was a "supercharger" or just another acronym I wasn't hip to. Looking forward to hearing/seeing the final product, man. (rockon)

Let me be perfectly clear, I AM AN ACTUAL BIKE RIDER. I am not one of those guys that adapt to the "JDM TYTE" trends, everything I do serves a purpose. I ride a Specialized Hardrock mountain bike.

BTW, the factory roof rack looks weird because I don't have the covering plastics.

That makes sense about the racks...I myself have a Gary Fisher Pirhana...with a flat tire...wrecked it on the side of the mountain the other day...only about a 60ft roll down the side before me and the bike hit a big enough tree and stopped...

took it around the city celebrating the slovakian win over italy :)

When we passed through little Italy they got violent, tried to kick the P5, spit on it, etc..

But I think I blew/melted the fuse for the air horn. These air horns are getting really annoying, everytime I use them for a longer period of time something breaks. First the air line pops off, then compressor overheats, and now the fuse.. burnt my finger off the compressor too.. might start looking into another solution, or maybe just get a second set and have them both hooked up, hopefully both wouldn't break.

Also got confirmation from TireRack that the brakes have finally shipped :)

I'm trying to get myself a road bike personally, i know where i can get one for free that needs some rust work and such, but if i do i'd throw my roof rack back on and get a bike rack also(duh).

oh and to keep on track, i drove my car to court this morning just to get my case thrown out, boo-ya, not getting sued.

I'm about to take mine to get e-checked and then renew the plates on it, and the MSM.

Hello and need help for a/c problem

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have a 2002 Protege - with very low mileage.
Recently I am having problem with a/c. Two years ago when there was a problem, a/c was coolant was drained , refilled and recharged by the dealer.
This summer it has stopped blowing cool air.
Need some advice before I take it back again. Coolant level is o.k.,no leakage, fuses are o.k

im so sick of bikes. they ride up the mountain road everyday and theres hundreds of them. Oh and better yet... they use the road and not the 4 foot wide sidewalk the city built just for them. I think they are morons (fuoops)... sorry that was outloud?
