I see what you were trying to do, but ask yourself this: What is the subject of the photo, and what do you want the viewer's eye attracted towards. Use angles and whatnot to direct the viewer's eye towards the subject. Those photos are kind of distracting as my eye is naturally drawn away from the car and to the cement wall down the garage there... Just a tip

I was talking with him the other day, he says that on the highway at 80mph+ the car feels more planted.
on his car, maybe. but he also has a big front air dam, which is a major player in air management too.
^Yup. 98% aesthetic. I like the way they look. Protege rear bumpers are so high! Even with the rear lip...
If you get a rear diffuser that utilizes an entire underbody panel, then they are functional. They increase air speeds under the car by creating less turbulence and thereby creating downforce. Many are also designed to create a controlled swirling effect that more effectively routes the air out the back of the car.

Those are called "Speed holes" and yes they are supposed to have a similar effect. On race cars anyways... Not on the lame ass civics you see, lol.

thats supposed to be for weight reduction... because we all know how heavy those molded plastic bumpers are.
Diffuser does have function. Car is super planted at 70+ miles per hour (front lip probably helps too). And my car is slow?? Cool story bro, its not a protege.
