thats cool i havn't seen that before. the reflector you left chrome, did you have to tape it off or is it a whole seperate piece?

Thanks I had fun doing this mod. Won a raffle at OCC meet in Upstate NY to have headlights painted. The company is Blackflamecustoms.com. located on Long Island, NY. JB did and excellent job. I fabricated the eyelids out of fiberglass and bondo. This gives the eyelids a more three- dementional appearance. Created a cavity in the back of the eyelids to house an LED strip. Hooked up the LED to the "driving light" portion of the yellow bulb. The yellow bulb only activates as a turning indicator or emergency blinkers. Next on list is to fabricate front lip, lower car, and tints.

The chrome reflector was taped. Opps, I assumed it was taped, had it done by JB of blackflamecustom.com. Darkside has a "how to" write up on painting the head lights, and in one of his pictorials that chrome piece is separate and removable. However he has a MS3 and I a MZ3.

Thanks, JB owner of blackflamecustoms is a terrific guy. His turn around time for the lights was completed in 10 hours and back to me in 20 hours.
