Bumper Holes/License Plate Bracket

Roshambo with the salesman with the loser buying the part. Make sure you go first and wear steel toes.

I would offer the insert from my car but I am not sure when we will be getting the new front bumper painted and installed. It could be a while.

And brass knuckles! lol

Thanks for the offer, keep me posted I'd gladly pay for your insert.

Btw I emailed you but going to PM also had some questions for you.

The mess continues. I contacted the dealership/sales guy to see if they had the touch-up paint available for sale for my bumper insert/grille. According to the dealer they don't, only the main body color. He said I can buy a replacement grille for 80$ with his employee discount.

It pisses me off that I'd have to pay 80$ for the dealer's f*ck-up but at this point I just want a clean ride and am tired of going back and forth with these idiots.

What do you guys think?

This is friggin ridiculous!!! This is the option the dealer should have offered to you in the first place. Replace the grille (out of their pocket) for not delivering the car to you the way you requested. It's that simple if they are interested in keeping your business.

I would be persistent and make a big stink about it. You know what... let me talk to them! (pissed)

Anyone tried the plugs from bumperplugs.com? They have a mazdaspeed special, and a non-speed special. Any idea on those two?

We just released a license plate relocation bracket. It's anodized black with a CS Corksport logo milled into the bracket. It comes with the bumper plugs that match the gray front bumper insert if you were unlucky enough to have the dealer drill holes in your bumper.

Any chance you have a color code for that gray? I am looking to have the hood scoop and rear bumper painted and was hoping you had a color code for it. Thanks!

i just bought my car yesterday. liquid silver mazdaspeed3.
well i was kind of in a pissed off mood yesterday (long story) with this whole dealer transfer bs and didnt notice that the front plate wasnt straight. i removed it this morning and was planning on just plugging it till i noticed one hole is fine and the other is like 1/4" too low. how do you screw that up? theres effing dimples there!
theres also a huge paint chip in the passenger side mirror. might have happened on the way home. it was like 70 miles away.
dont know if i should try going to a dealer closer to me n try to get the bumper swapped or if i really have to drive my ass 70miles back to where i got it

Did anyone ever figure out or get the paint code for the front grill? I bought my car in Illinois, so it's pre-drilled with bumper holes but here in Michigan we don't do front plates.......thanks.

I had similar issues with my dealership (CASEY IN NN,VA) also and they even made extra holes in the bumper by using longer screws to mount actual plate?!? That makes 4!!
And the worse part is their doing it on ALL the cars! So Buyers beware....
Went back and showed said holes and people just started pointing at each other for responsibility..ass clowns! No one from sales to parts could get the color code of the grill insert and they priced it around $140 to replace.

Anyway for this little project I took the whole day (fog light surrounds as well) during summer just to make sure it dried appropriately...
The whole front clip comes off fairly easy for anyone with basic skills....
Used Bumper Repair Bondo, & RustOleum Metallic Black...
