Get that Injen intake man!!! LOL. I think the hottest my IAT has been up too was around 115; and that was after 40 min of driving, during the hottest part of the day, and sitting at a light in traffic. And usually it drops to about 99-102 within a couple seconds of moving again.

Man, it's been barely in the 90s here. Muggy as usual, of course. Ambient air of 103? Your car must've been facing the sun.

Yeah, its been disgusting here. I drove to work at 5am this morning and it easily felt like mid/upper 70's. Humidity sucks.

is it a black temp module lookin thing clipped to the insinde ot the bumper mesh?

Probably, but I'm not sure. On my Ram, it's next to the driver's side headlight.

I here you guys. And I hate driving with the A/C on. Ride is rougher and I hate how you have to shift with the additional load. Not to mention you hit boost with less throttle which is annoying.

Looks like the temp sensor is a bit to the left of center, an inch or so above the belly-pan

I just switched from working graveyard shift in the burbs to working day shift in downtown Tampa. The only blessing is that I got a covered garage space so my car isn't 160 degrees when I get to it.

Plus, if I leave my Zune or DH in the car during the day, they won't get broiled. Working nights, I had to make sure I took everything with me before parking in the driveway in the morning. (Like most folks in FL, all my crap gets stored in the garage for lack of a basement or functional attic, so no room for cars.)

To the OP: I have also noticed the discrepancy between the reported ambient temp in the cluster and the AAT on the DH. Never have understood that one.

Its been in the high 70's low 80's with a nice wind here in So.Cal.

thanks for rubbing that in. (eekfu) LOL.

I shut my car off yesterday at 530am to head into work. I got back in my car at about 610pm. When I started my car, my IAT read 102!! It was as if my car never cooled off after 12.5 hours! LOL

I used to live in Tally, I know exactly what you guys are talkin about. 5% tint knocks temps inside your car from about 135-140 degrees to about 105-110. I did come across something that had Tallahassee rated as the second sweatiest city in the country. I think Phoenix was first. No one ever believed me when I told them that Tally was usually the hottest city in FLA, or at least it felt that way. Most major cities in FLA are on the water, so they get a little help with that sea breeze, but tally is like 40-45 min inland and probably has the most contoured land around it in all of FLA as well. So breezes don't really make it all the way through tally-ho.

I went to FSU for 2 years and I agree. Tally gets nasty hot. But its also cooler during winter / spring.
Yeah, all three weeks of spring and three weeks (maybe) of fall. Today we got to 'bout 88. Then a thunderstorm blew through and we went down to 74 and 2,000,000% humidity. (ugh)

I was in the San Diego/Oceanside area in June, '08. It was very comfy. If only the ground didn't move so freely. (omg)
