got rolling shots done with the p5 today, had a friend drive the p5 while i rode and snapped.

got an msp radio pocket yesterday. radio is held in so much more securely now.

That PS there is very gold, yellow even. Bronze is a lot darker, more brown.

But on that note, I think bronze & gold wheels look great on red cars.

sube, how does it drive compared to the p5? this car has grown on me since the first time i saw it. Why did you choose auto instead of manual?

I have major back and knee problems so stick shift is out, this car is light years from the P5, handles as good or better but so quiet compared to the P5.
I had a love hate relationship with the P5, I loved the fun factor and handling but hated the noise, the road noise on a trip just got on my nerves even after soundproofing the floors trunk doors and hood.

Yea.. I don't actually have PS and had someone do that for me... that's the closest to bronze he did (he just did a bunch of random colors for fun).. if someone wants to make them a legit bronze that'd be great

I think I finally wrapped up my parts buying spree. Apart from a few typical wear/tear bits, I'm about ready to get started.

sell the msp rims, sell the suspension set up (roughly 30K on them)
pick up the BC coilovers, get the rpf1s that are for sale here or get some rotas
pick up some suede fabric, and wrap all the pillars, door panels and do suede headliner.
and make a new shiftboot

today i just drove it around to work and errands.

cleaned the P5 and ordered a new adjustment bolt for the alternator. Changed the belts and it kinda got stripped a bit. Gonna install new brakes soon.

rpf1's are tits. I've been eyeing that set in f/s forums too, lol. If I coulda swung it they would already be gone, tho.

Looking forward to seeing the end results of all that. This summer I am planning on doing micro-suede the same that your doing with the real stuff (pillars, door inserts & headliner). (hump)

i would have done suede in my car but i wanted something crazy lol im going to redo my interior soon with a diff print fabric, not sure what yet, but its def going to be brown
and yes there is a reason behind that lol

ended up getting two brand new wheels from discount tire because they nicked two of mine when putting on the new tires. one of them was the one that also had a mark on it from when i hit a curb with it so now all my wheels have no curb rash at all

also cleaned and put vinyl over the rusty area on the rear by the wheel until next weekend when it gets por15'ed and painted over. you cant even notice the vinyl until youre a foot away.

dub shipped my coils and wideband and they should be here by thursday meaning that friday they will be put on and the brake rotors will be put in the right spots lol.

also, going to ship out my fd's tomorrow.

i think thats about it.
