Goodness know this has been wrestled back and forth.
However, search through M247.com's sponsors, I noticed that Hypertech.com has a tunning box for the 4 cyl '09 Mazda 3 - should this then work in our M5s?
The exact items is Max Energy Sport Power Programmer - Part #62003
Lists gains on regular octane as +6HP +7TQ (seems within reasonable level)
as states that:
" Top Speed Limiter 25 - 75 MPH in 5 MPH increments, 81 to 255 MPH to match speed rated tires
Rev Limit -500 to +500 RPM
DTCs Read and Clear
Return Back To Stock -> big in my book.
Internet Updateable"
I have a msg out to tech support, they'll get back to me soon (I hope) and I'll share.
