What have you done to your P5 today?

Well for $200 they are still worth it. Function over fashion. When are you getting tires mounted? I bet you're just dying to put those on your P5.

I have a tracking number but it hasn't updated yet. I'm guessing I'll get the tires Friday or Saturday. If I get them Friday then I'll be putting them on on Friday hopefully.

I'm super excited to get them put on.

On another note, since I sold the headlights and will need something to hold me over, I'm going to be using an H4 to D2S adapter in the new sedan lights so I can still have some HID's. Here's the adapter:

I got new lugs to put on with wheels soon, too. What brand are those?

i picked my set up for like 72bucks off of Evasivemotorspots

and beware the paint chips off alot easier than i expected it to be.
so i put masking tape around the lugs or teflon tape around it when i remove or tighten lugs.
and its a b**** to do, but i managed to put teflon inside the lugnut key so i dont have to even put teflon around the lugs.

And that sucks, bcuz I was hoping the "hard anodized" would hold up... They obviously aren't anodized if they chip. Anodizing chemically changes the top layers of aluminum, it can't chip. That's some BS...

They will hold up if you're gentle with them and tape your lug socket.

The top layer, yes. But not the layers underneath when they get scratched up.

They still don't chip tho, right? It scratches, yes. Paint chips... I know the hard anodize finish on my old paintball gun held up pretty damn well through A LOT of abuse. And the anodizing went down fairly deep.

Ordered the MSP lip yesterday. I'll be getting my front bumper patched and hopefully get the side markers shaved off as well. My friend that works at the local Honda dealership knows the paint guys and they told me it would be $200 to paint the bumper and lip before patch work so I imagine right around $300 with the shaving work.

or fill shave the side markers right now and just bondo it and what not and then take it to the dealr and all they would be doing technically is just painting since you already shaved the markers yourself!

posted it a few pages back... broke all the tabs on the front bumper cover... broke one of my diffusers... and put spider web cracks in my dg lip... lol the day before i did that... i broke the fiberglass tab on my rear bumper.... solved that one myself with a drill and tie straps....

i'm going to fix it myself... but i did take the check from my insurance that $863 and some change is after my $250 deductible so in actuality it came out to over a grand

the insurance guy that was doing the estimate told me about a product called ez 100
it's supposed to work magic on plastic parts... he also said there is different ones for different materials

Cool, I took a personal check myself. I probably won't have much left over after I get everything done but I got everything I wanted (MSP lip).
