What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I have the Magnaflow on mine with a test pipe, sounds really nice. Not too loud but has a good growl when accelerating. I don't know if they are still around but I got mine from a place for a little over $400. If interested PM me and I'll send you the site.

woot!! i also have purchased a grounding kit.. in Rally White.. wait why would i purchase white when my whole engine bay is blue and black.. blue wouldve been too much blue, and black would hide the kit.. i want it to stand out.. and it breaks the color up a bit.. cant wait to see what it looks like on the car..

I decided I want my car louder. Going with the 3" cpe single cat back. Has a resonator welded in. Taking my magnaffow cat-back off. Its just too quiet. I want to hear the growl of the mzr!! My last car was pretty loud so I am kinda used to it. Good news is it came to my house around 5 today. Bad news is I am at work. :( Getting up early in the morning. I cant wait. Shouldnt take me an hour or so to swap the catback.

The catted midpipe from corksport should be here by wednesday or thursday.

Anywho. Look for my magnaflow and resonated corksport 3" midpipe in the for sale section this weekend.

Well, it is a middle of the road performance vehicle.
So im guessing you want either of the two extremes you want more luxery or more performance.

aha, i simply cant get away with super loud exhaust. I'd get pulled over withing 5 minutes in my drive to work! haha.
I might be interested in your exhaust, it also had the Magnaflow mufflers or straight piped? or was the resonated midpipe quiet enough... im super curious now lol got recordings?

Yes. Magnaflow mufflers. I cut off the tips though because they dont line up well and I used my stock tips instead. I have a vid on youtube of it. Just search mazdaspeed 6 1-3 pull. I am the one in that vid. Then you can go to my channel to watch the vid from outside the car with me taking off. But the vid of 1-3 is stock exhaust with just a 2.5" testpipe.

it's been a fun car, and i've enjoyed it. i'm actually going back to a celica gt-s. so downgrading in the luxury department. just prefer revving a car out instead of shifting at 5500rpm.

oh, so no vid/audio of the setup you are selling? i found this other one in your channel "Mazdaspeed6 Turbo-back Exhaust"... is that the sound of your current setup? if so tahts nice and deep, but quiet still.
 
yes thats the current setup. well not anymore as of noon today :)

Installed the cpe single exhaust this morning. It was a bit of a pain to get on. A lot harder than the magnaflow was to install. I dont think I can lower my car anymore now since its less than 3 inches from the ground. I think it sounds great. Crusiing its not much louder than the magnaflow. But taking off and putting a load on the engine its a bit louder. Not too loud to draw a lot of attention but a nice deep tone.
