MSP performance question

Hey I was thinking about getting a MSP because I like family sedans. But are they fast? The look fast. Besides the wing it looks really cool. But I saw an all motor Spec V walk one down pretty bad. Would it just be better to get a Speed 3 even though they look like Mini Vans.

get a 3 instead :)

You should get a speed 3, they hold lots of kids inside of them. If the motor falls out, then just flinstone it.

In a straight line, no they are not fast. And it costs a lot of money to make them fast in a straight line. Where they shine is in the handling department.

And the speed3 is fast for what it is, but again you're looking at a lot of time and money to make them fast fast.

The msp is stupid and the motors just blow up. I was told the black msp are cursed and blow up all the time. Thats what naoto told me:)

They handle really good from what I hear until their LSD break. I'm not trying to race or anything. Just don't want to get walked by a corolla.

It's the same motor, skippy. And it's a mazda engine.

Further, mazda uses the MZR in place of their duratec these days.

I don't know if you're trying to say this but Ford's Duratec 4 cylinders 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5L are Mazda MZR engines...

Beginning in 2004, Ford dropped the old 4-cylinder Zetec engines in favor of Mazda's MZR design. Thus, 2005 and present Duratec 4-cylinder engines are indeed Mazdas. This includes the 2.0 L Duratec 20 the 2.3 L Duratec 23 and the all new 2.5 L Duratec 25.
