i know i gotta do my front MM before it tears all the way through.

mazdaspeeder, you still like your side awr and front rr insert set up? im in the car on the highway a lot so i want it to be nice

AWR mounts>all ;)

My issue with that is, you can get inserts for cheaper and they prevent drivetrain lash the same. And, inserts have less vibes. I barely have any at idle at all.

I do...my reasoning is above. The problem is, eventually the rear is going to have to be done, one way or the other. I'm considering the SU rear mount because it's a really soft duro, vs the RR rear insert, which is actually a pretty firm insert set.

so yesterday i put in a new gasket between my cat and midpipe to cure the exhaust leak

also got my hitch on! and it clears the magnaflow sooooo SWEET!

As in the bushings on the tie rod ends? Not sure it's tie rod ends, as my steering is still tight. I'm going to replace endlinks (with yours, I'll order soon) and sway bar bushings before I go for the MM.

it's the bushings that hold the steering rack. One looks like the sway bar bushing.

I would (and did) buy AWR mounts. Do it once, do it right.

What do you mean "do it right"? Are you saying the SU mounts aren't quality? I would say they are just as good if not better in the sense that they are a softer durometer (62).

That depends on what you intend to use them for... Softer duro is nicer for daily use but not necessarily better.. you'll still probably have wheel hop problems in a higher HP car.

Yeah for a stock car or us guys that aren't turbo'd the SU mounts are a good compromise between performance and comfort.

I had AWR front/rear 70 duro with side inserts and the vibes still annoyed me.

I now have a full insert set on new front/rear OEM mounts and it is perfect.

Washed her today and tried to clean my dirty ass trans

waiting for the clouds to stop covering the sun up, then going to clean my MAF and maybe my EGR. depends on the EGR, may wait till tomorrow. how easy would you guys say it is to knock out?

so i think my heatshield is still vibrating. cant tighten the bolts on it because one of the ones in the front, the nut inside the car detached so im going to just get some self tapping screws and fasten it to the car that way. id rather have the shield than just rip it off completely.
