What have you done to your MSP today?

Used the gapper to squish the gap to where it's needed. And most have a hole on them to open if you need to.

Dropping the flywheel off today. How hard is it to replace the rear mainseal while it's out. Flywheel has no oil on it but the bolts do. Was also thinking of getting the LSD welded but feelin intimidated by the complexity of the gearbox disassembly to get to said LSD.

that may be but it will be better in the long run to have it welded plus youll have the peace of mind

if you're not comfortable doing it, pay to have it done... if I could afford the down time I woulda... but I'm more than glad I went welded, otherwise every step on the go-pedal comes with a cringe.

^^Opening transmissions scares me, too. lol I opened the one I shredded last spring, and granted, it was all tore up, but it still looked complicated, lol. Was funny tho, I opened the case, and 3rd gear fell out (I think it was 3rd (shrug)). (lol2)

Mother F'in F'er! I don't think i could ever recomend a Xcelerated Concepts Hood to anybody. They won't take it back unless i pay shipping ($160 or more) and they can't seem to understand a simple concept of "Send me a new latch without any holes drilled in it and leave extra steel on the sides so I have room to work with."

My plan was simple. send me a new latch without the holes drilled out, i figure out where it needs to go, drill the holes on the latch to match the existing holes on the hood and TA DA! I have a hood the closes properly and the strength of the latch isn't comprimised.

The first latch never got to me and the secone has holes already drilled out but of course they don't line up to what is already there. Maybe third time's a charm? so much for having it for MWMF, thought i'd have plenty of time when i ordered it towards the end of january.

end rant/

think i might quit my job so mooding and driving the msp maybe less in the future

+1 on quitting my job, but I really had not planned on it until today. They basically told me my job no longer exists and that I'm going back to what I was doing before but really I didn't like it all that much. That is their way of getting me to quit so they don't have to fire me and pay unemployment. Though I should stay just to say "**** you", I really don't want to work at a place where I'm not wanted.

Oh and yesterday I installed some slim fans. Couple pics in my thread but no finished pic yet since the weather is still bad. Think I'll be pressed for money for a while so I might have to calm down on the modding.

same boat, they took away my shift diff of 8% so not too happy and other things in the past haven't helped out either. i'll look into part time but i doubt they'll give that to me.

just slot the hood latch mount holes so you can move the latch instead of the catch?

Wait wait wait. Your telling
me the msp had a go pedal? =O!

So is there a way to take the bellhousing off the tranny and leave the gear train the phuc Alone?

The shift linkage connects to it but there must be some way to service the diff without pulling it completly appart.

I thought about that but it was held in with rivits and that's how i was gonna put the new latch on. I don't know if bolts will hold in place with out weakining the latch if i do the slotted holes
