what size turbo is that? still a t3/t4?

you should make some insane power with this, good thing you have the full PAR gearset lol
im counting down the days until my trans blows, and im only at 210-ish whp :(

edit: i fail at reading, just saw its a gt35

Hey Scott,
Just wondering if you've upgraded the screws on the adjustable cam gears? The stock ones used were made of putty and will strip as soon as you start using the engine. Do yourself a favour and upgrade to SS bolts. The shortest ones I found needed a 2 washers to fit without cutting; one regular one and one "lock" one.

We almost have the same thing in our Engine-Turbo build.

Im running Wossner 0.40 Pistons 8.0:1 Compression
Hi performance Engine Sleeves
Blue Printed and Balance Everything as well
ACL Duraglide Racing Bearings .25mm
ARP all around.
Built head with Ferrea 1mm oversize valves
double valve springs and Titanium retainers
5 angle valve job.
505 IM as well
JDM Cams for Inspection Purposes in here. I know i could of got same as yours but i wont pass emission with them in here..

And lots of more things that Im not going to thread jack your thread with it

One thing that i will recommend you not to use is CLEVITE BEARINGS, They suck, they are the same as OEM or worst.. I had them on my previous build and they were all crushed up when i removed them. They will not hold power or abuse at all, You should go with ACL Duraglide race bearings..

Also if you are not using DOC b Oil System, you should trow a TOGA HV oil Pump you really notice the difference in oil preassure compared to the OEM one. one other thing ive noticed you are going to use SPEC Stage 3+ Clutch, I also had that clutch in the pass and they will not hold what they advertise they do, i had to replaced mine cause it was slipping like crazy. I went with ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate and 6 Puck Sprung Racing cluth This combo will basically hold more than what you and me can ever trow at it and its streetable almost as any other clutch kits.

Im saving up to trow at the tranny exactly what you have in yours along with some nice BBK for the front and if i can afford it also to the back..

Either way Scott you have some Sick Setup, that Engine looks so beautiful with that Bullhorn Manifold and that 35R turbo will definitely RIP insanely hard with that manifold and richs as well... what PSI are you planning to run ?

LOL well they make boost gauges that read up to 60 and I've seen a Supra video that was supposedly running 50's.

Hahaha.... the highest our GT35 Turbos can efficiently blow its a max of 35 PSI. Plus I highly doubt these engines can hold anything more than 45 PSI at extreme.. only the Puerto Rican Guy with the FS-DE engine on a 2nd Gen 323 is boosting that much but on Alcohol not even Gasoline on a bigger size turbo as well.

i just looked at that, and i think theres a little more money involved in that build than either of the ones in discussion here

Well the point was it is possible to push that massive amount of air. I didn't expect any Mazda to do so I was simply kidding around.

Well i just got done putting together a eclipse like that we didnt spend to much money on the motor to make 1200 and run 68 psi on a gt4788r. all the money would go into converting it to rwd.

Well share pictures, Links or Videos, PM to not thread jack Scotts thread..

Haha ill take pictuers when it gats back from having more points added to the cage. The funny thing is in guessing you dont believe me?

Who said i didnt believe you ? At least not me. I just said PM to not thread Jack Scotts thread any pictures, videos or Links Thats All.. With money anything is possible i have no doubt..

so im sitting here on the crapper and have come to a conclusion... ive thought about it for a year or so... and it sucks to say since i will never see this thing come to life and all my hard earned money, blood, sweat, tears and devotion to this project are now going to waste...

the car will be parted out. completely.

its going to be returned to stock, or as stock as it can go, and sold.

a part out thread will be up sometime this weekend hopefully.

thanks for following my battles and sorry for letting anyone down.

What the **** Scott, what happened ? why are you giving up brotha ??

i have lost my interest in it.. there is still some work that needs to be done to finish it and it will never be super reliable anymore.. i planned on finishing it this summer and tuning it up just to satisfy myself that its done.. but there is no point when i know i will end up selling it sooner rather than later...

i have too much money wrapped up in this thing to let it continue to sit there... and i dont want to put out the money to machine the head and tranny and then tune it on top of that... and as soon as i do all that work just to get it to run, the parts are now used and just dropped half their value for selling... its in my best interest to sell it now..

to be honest im feeling kind of homesick or something just thinking about how i will never see it done... but i dont have that kind of money to just let it sit there anymore.

i will be parting and selling the spicy in the next couple of months as well.

i plan on buying an 06-07 STi for fun on the streets and build a race car for fun on the side...

i have 3 msps right now and none of them run. i need something thats fun with some power stock that is reliable and i will build a race car on the side instead of taking a car that had thousands of dollars into it for show purposes and a stupidly high powered engine that is really no good for anything..

sucks though. :(
