well, ive always wondered why my car seems extra slow. coming from 2 NA 3rd gen proteges, the msp didnt feel all that much faster but i didnt think too much about it. after installing my fmic kit and boost gauge it made sense. my car only hits 4psi and other people that have ridden in my car have said that its weird that my boost builds really slow.
in the video you see me go thru 1st, 2nd and 3rd. on 2nd and 3rd gear, the boost would hit 2-3psi and slowly hit 4psi as the rpm's get higher. i never hit the full 6psi. before my fmic kit, i didnt have a boost gauge hooked up but the car pretty much felt as slow as it is now minus the heatsoak. vac reads about 21-22 at idle. so far ive been suggested that its my wastegate or its a boost leak but ive double checked all my couplers and they check out fine.
i do have a fmic kit as pictured here. i hope you all can help me out
