Thanks I found another stock tube for slightly more than that, and the listing says it fits a 1.6L so it may not be the correct one. I am not sure what to get, I know i'm not dropping $300 on a CAI, it would never be worth it on this car. I was going to get a cheap ebay RAI and put a nicer filter on it but I can't find a kit with red couplers. I may end up with another stock tube but I wouldn't mind an upgrade, although i'm not entirely sure an ebay intake would even be an upgrade.

Yeah i had the same issue, ended up getting my buddy at pepboys to put the car on a lift and used a big ass crow bar to just pry the damn thing out. i'd suggest cutting it though if you cant get your car up high enough for a big ass crow bar lol
 
REUT, love that pic with the logs. Black ur grille emblem and do ur hatch ones with the same wheel color.
 
Maui was the s***! perfect weather, whales jumpin out of the ocean while your chillin at the beach. Very relaxing and much needed. I had a connection in Honolulu the way there, even saw a couple P5's :D
 
got my ebay header in the mail today, and i gotta say this thing is pretty damn nice for 80 bucks. ill do a write up this weekend

BEWARE! it does not fit a P5!!! I had to bend it down about 1 1/8".... however afterwards its a good product (cabpatch)
 
yeah haha. i kinda miss my friends calling me and telling me "hey was that you driving down the road? i saw a yellow protege" haha

maybe ill do them all with the wheel color. whats the best way to re-attach them after painting? tape seems kinda tricky to use
