Wait, so 2.0t03speed, you've installed this manifold with just bolt ons and no ECU change? You're not running any piggyback or standalone for timing or fuel, just dropped the mani straight on?

built motor, 505 zoom manifold, 440 injectors, perrin fuel rail,walbro fuel pump,canadian EGR, steedspeed turbo mani,garrett 28rs,corksport spipe,vibrant tbe,turbolife fmic, injen intake ss afc

how would anyone? 505zoom runs a different ECU, and everyone else just got the mani. like I said before... with this IM you're looking at a custom tune if you want anything good. Just start with one of the 440 maps and see what kinda wideband readings you get, start working out the kinks. Or better yet, tell your buddy to just take it in to get tuned.

To my knowledge me and rich are the only ones that are actually running our cars with this mani on so no maps sorry.

Actually you're wrong when rich did the dyno's he was running off the stock msp ecu. He had the mpi hooked up but it wasn't adding fuel or anything, and as far as i know that's still how hes running his car.

i feel like if rich with all his mods and his 28rs is running the mani and only getting into 11 afr's i should be able to run this mani right off my stock ecu like he is no problem.

I guess I assumed that the stock ECU with all it's limitations wouldn't be able to adequately compensate for the change to actually run the engine properly.

no argument there, however to get a truely good tune... my point is there isn't anything in existance that is going to be an "off the shelf" plug and play option. the stock MSP tune runs on a stock MSP also... but nobody here will tell you its a GOOD tune.

i wasn't arguing the bad tune on the msp ecu at all lol i was just saying that it will run on the stock ecu with no problems, and that me and rich are both running it off of the stock ecu with no other tuning mods. It's not the greatest tune in the world but it will work just fine for now. After i pick up a wideband,fic,and a j&s i should be able to pump alot more power out of this mani.

Nope it compensates for the mani just fine without any hiccups.

haha, you're funny. Those a stress relief cuts, to prevent the mani from actually cracking.
