What have you done to your P5 today?

true it is, problem is, i can do an engine swap without an issue, but i cannot wire one of those effing things properly haha. i've tried a few times before and ended up having to just get OE parts.

Its 4 wires, color coded. Engine swaps involve an entire wire harness... Much more than 4 wires on O2 sensor.

haha yes i know. but thats what they make pre-wired harnesses for. i dunno, its much easier to get the OE ones IMO

Leave him alone, if he wants to spend the extra money for plug-n-play, let it be damn. lol.

Isn't that what "Fair enough" means?

Was just throwin it out there. I'm a broke-ass college kid, I'll do a lot to save little money, haha. It's all good in the hood!

Dont go universal! i did and it went bad after 4k miles got another one and its already getting faulty after another 4k. also if its upstream it will mess up your oxygen:fuel real bad

BS, haha. I've used countless Bosch universal replacement O2 sensors (every time I've ever needed one for any car I've owned, I've used one) and I've never had one go bad on me... They are the same sensors, only thing different is the wiring harness (open vs. oem plug). They both obtain a reading the same way. I've had one in the Protege for at least 30k miles, with no problems.

If I were you, I would check for other problems that are wasting your O2 sensors away. Clogged cat, too much unburnt fuel...

which spray paint did you use

for the color i used some Rustoleum Universal Indoor/Outdoor paint Pure Gold Mettalic... For the reflective Paint i used Duplicolor Nite Lite

here's a shot of the materials used

Where'd you get that nite lite from? Never seen it b4. It's just to make them brighter? Or what effect does it provide? Just shinier/more reflective?

i got it from checkers.... essentially its a clear paint but if you put to much of it it starts to turn white... you know how the street signs light up when your light hits it... this is what the duplicolor nite lite paint does when applied to any surface...

Where are the mounted pics?

gonna take more pics today

but here's the one from the previous page

they sorta change color especially at night because of the reflective paint... during the day it's a bit darker then at night they start to lighten up

Why the change?

cheaper tires...

i just bought 4 kumho ectsa spt's for my 19's... cost = $960 + 4% tax

and the 4 BF Grid019's only costed me $462 no tax on base

either way i just going use the both rims... just swap them out every month or so... cuz if not if i run the 19's all the way... i can expect to the front tires to run out within 6-9 months... some ppl say rotate... i say no way... i rather just buy two front tires... for the 17's i will rotate tires though

I want daytime pics! I don't want that lame flash at night pic.

I will try to get some today
