Blacked out my headlights and taillights over the weekend. Planning some major work with a shop in the area as I type.

I took the CX7 bumper off for the 2nd time and did some experimenting. Seems the light on the driver's side does not want to be as accurate as the passenger side. I even threw the original Halogen back in and it was doing the same thing.

If I'm not mistaken, the driver's side is always slightly lower than the passenger side so you're not blinding opposing drivers. That has generally been my experience with new(er) cars, anyway.

Yup, that's exactly why. I get customers complaining about it all the time.

Yeah but i'm not worried about the aim, i'm more worried about the pattern of light, and how it's all scattered on the driver's side, but not the pass side.

Got the CPE dash pod and Prosport electronic boost gauge installed. Now I gotta get the wideband installed to fill one of the other gauge holders.

mine broke when I was removing it and just said "peed" lol. I almost wanted to keep it

..also just ordered my Dashhawk like 10 seconds ago

no! get something RWD! Dont go to GM though! Srsly. And whats wrong with the speed?

I have plenty of things to drive around my house that are RWD.... Corvette Z06 race car, Porsche 944 Turbo race car, Mustang Cobra..... needless to say I can go have fun going sideways when I want. I want to be competitive nationally in some class and the Speed3 is just not in any class.

I also have no problem with GM right now. 100,000 mile power train warranty sounds nice and the dealer will take care of me since they work/sponsor our Corvette. Our local Mazda dealer is just being ridiculous to me so I feel a change of mechanics would not be bad either.

Mazda is doing just fine in stock trim motor wise. After replacing three injectors the car accelerates so smoothly its ridiculous!

Not a bad choice. Since you're looking to race it, I see no problem switching because it's the better car (stock or modified).

the only thing that thing is better at is making power. If he wants to race it, fine, it'll probably be great, however, as a DD, it still has the rental car interior...

At least his engine won't blow up LOL.

I don't care a whole lot about the interior. I spend most of the time looking out the wind shield anyways (drive)
