Gnarly "ERR-EEEK!" sound coming from front shocks when going over bumps

:
Yellow 2003.5 MSP!
usually happens on a cold day. It started happening when i was in a parking lot and turned my wheels against a sprinkler head and has been creaking ever since. I read something somewhere about oiling the springs or something (or was that the clunk sound from the rear sway bar) PLEASE HELP! its emarrasing and drives me CRAZZZYYYYY!!!!!!!

My rear drivers side makes a similar noise when it compresses/decompresses. Not sure what the cause is.
Started after I had the front jacked up for an hour or so when replacing the alt. belt.

No im pretty sure it;s not the clunk man, I've got the clunk in the back and Iknow what it sounds like; It's littereally a "CLUNN-CLUNK!" whenever the road get a little rough, but this is a loud ass echoing "ERR-EEK!" That can be heard outside the car by EVERYONE. If you noticed, the clunk can only be heard inside of the car because it reverberates through the chassis.

Well it inst a clunk. Its def. a creak and I can hear it outside the car, like when I open the door and step out and the weight is lifted off the struts it makes a pretty noticeable creak. Doesn't seem to be as loud as what ur describing tho.

The front sway bar bushings make a creeking sound. Try replacing them or lubing them. That's where I would start.

its the bushing. get the awr replacements and lube them. there is a group interest thread going on right now for the clunk fix kit right now it gets rid of it for good. if u replace the bushings its just a matter of time before it comes back.

what do you guys use to lube the bushing? I got the same problem. Only in summer though I guess when the bushings expand due to the heat.

link please? I have the clunk as well as the horrible creaking noise the OP is talking about. He is not exaggerating either lol it is loud as s***.

for those who want to lube the existing bushings, use white lithium grease in a spray can. just gotta losen up the bracket, stick the straw thingy in as far as you can and push the button lol. had to do this to my last car when it had the same squeeky kreeky issues
