so children the lesson of the day is don't turn up the boost at all unless u are tuned for it...not even 17 psi where i was at for DD...just don't do it or this will happen...not worth the ******* risk!

I notice that when I go to WOT it sometimes spikes to 20-21.

with stories such as yours Im starting to worry. oh and my tune was for 17psi

yeah dude the spikes aren't good at all...mine would do the same i blame that mostly for my motor blowing along with my previous poor driving habits (bang)

there was no tune on this car. it had the TRZ top mount intercooler (only one) reworked turbo, corksport downpipe, PG test pipe, forge bypass and .... i'm fuzzy on the rest

well that eases my mind a bit. I am at cobb intake/forge bpv/cobb ap (stage 1SF 93...etc)...and I'm a scaredy cat. This definitely helps me hold off on the TBE...

It seems every time I read a mod thread I buy a part and every time I read a blown thread I regret it. SCAREDY CAT MOD FTW!
