This is Miguels manifold... we did some extra bracing on it just in case he goes all captain insano with the boost controller. :)

Mike - I will do my best to get yours boxed up and on it's way to Dana tomorrow.

Everyone else - Your manifold will be dropped off at coating tomorrow.

So pumped right now I can't even tell you guys. I am sure it's a huge relief for Kelly and Wes too to finally have these out of there.

Working on those invoices tonight.

received mine but i will not be able to open it up and take a peek as i am not at home and won't be till the end of the month.

How long do you expect them to be at the coater?

The quote sheet says 5-7 business days, but I dropped the last ones off on like a tuesday or wednesday... and they were ready the following monday. Either way it'll probably be early-mid next week for coating, and then through next weekend for lasering. Shooting to ship the week of the 15th.

Thanks for your patience guys! Glad to FINALLY have these finished up! (cool) Really glad that you guys dig these. They turned out sweet!(wow)

My AMM status expires at the end of the day, and since the sale is all but over with the last pieces shipping in 1-2 weeks, I am not going to renew at this time.

The extra manifold that I talked about earlier was not needed and it is the absolute last piece that will be available from this batch. It is coated extreme chrome and comes with the full EGR kit. 999 shipped UPS ground. Several of you have PM'd about it, so if I forgot anyone in the PM's I sent earlier I do apologize.

I will re-gauge the interest in a second batch sometime this summer and if there is enough people to do a batch of 10+, then Kelly, Wes, and I will definitely talk about it. Any future batches are going to be done differently, with the manifolds getting through the blasting stage before taking any deposits. This will keep my stress levels down considerably and be more convenient for you guys to pay, choose the options/color, and then have a manifold 2-3 weeks later.

If Antoine feels that this info thread needs to be closed along with the GB thread over in the FS section, all customers please PM me with any questions about installation or any other issues. I will still be here as a member and will continue to answer any PM's in my usual timely fashion.

All remaining balance PM's have been sent out, with the projected timeline for each individual piece included.

And with that, this GB is officially over. Thank you everyone for the amazing amount of patience throughout this entire process. I can't think of a cooler group in all of my years here, and for that I am incredibly thankful.

-Rich

Thank you for taking the time and effort to make such an awesome, one of a kind piece for our cars. Good luck on the next group buy!

Did you ship Mike's out my way? I need it ASAP so we can throw some extra injectors into it and give this new turbo kit the beating it needs. :)

I believe he said that it would never go below 1000 just because he didnt want to make the guys that were part of the first GB feel like they got cheated. After all they were the ones daring enough to dish out money for this without knowing much from the start. I believe he also said that he is NOT making profit off these, just doing it for the community so we have a larger aftermarket for the entire protege community. With those two reasons i would say that it wont go below a grand

Well I received mine a couple days ago but I won't be home for another week so I got my wife to open it and send me a couple cell phone pics. All she said was wow this thing is wrapped really really well, thanks Rich! Will post some pics up when I get home!

I expected the price would be the same, but considering it's actually cheaper than a full turbo back exhaust and yields about the same HP gains, seems like a good deal to me.

lowr3y must be an excellent student and a keen observer. Spot on. :)

I will of course need to recalculate using current material cost, current shop rate, etc... but the cost will be in that 1k ballpark again me thinks. In the end, the original GB guys got almost cost on it. (rei)
