What car did you have at 16?

my current car...a 2000 mazda protege dx, got it free from my neighbor
but i drove our toyota minivan for a few months before this.

at 16 I drove a 1990 dodge caravan with rusty grey paint... WOOT!! that nightmare died resulting in me buying a 2000 civic ex right after turning 17... took me three years to pay off but i was worth it....

Wish i got awarded a car for simply coming of age.... some of us have to work for things in life...

Couldn't agree more, this kids in dire need of a reality check...

That being said, at 16 I didn't have a car, but inhereted the family 1992 camry with 120k on the clock at 17. Moved up to a 96 grand am that cost me 4k. And now rock the speed at the age of 23.

No car at 16, not even a license. Got my license at 17, first car at 18. It was a used '87 Pontiac Bonneville. We called her "the bubble", because the head-lining had started to separate and created a giant bubble inside the car. if you were tall enough, the lining would rest on your head when you rode in the front seats.
