What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

or you can reach under the seat and unplug it.just dont crash or the airbag wont save your face(boom08)

Um...no. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't recommend anyone compromise safety in a vehicle. Have your local dealer disable it (which is an easy task for them) and enjoy.

Installed my first revision tune from race roots and holy hotsauce batman . . . feels so much better.

Thats great news batman. Can't wait to start tuning with them next week :) PTP internals came in the mail today. I will be installing these tomorrow afternoon!

How did your forge respond?? After my TIP my intake sounds got quite a bit louder. Especially under normal accelerating under 3K rpm.

But my forge bpv sound got more distinct. And it doesn't go off as easily as it used to (the ping sound). I don't mind at all but I didn't expect that.

I just feel like everything got louder. The intake suction noise is nuts, sounds like an airplane lol. Then when I let go of the gas the BPV is very loud, almost too loud haha. It almost sounds like a standard BOV, because I hear the air being released and then I hear the loud sword clashing "ping" noise. It's amazing...

YEah I was running a BAD tune. Holding 20 psi, A/F in the high 12's, LTFT's in the 15-16 range. I didn't go WOT for obvious reasons but when I did I hit fuel / load cut EVERY time in 3rd gear or higher.

Right now my car drives so much better. Night and day difference and I haven't even pushed my tune into boost.

Let me know how hard that install is once you get them in if you don't mind.

Will do.

I forgot to mention. This morning I had went to the bank. Caught up with a fellow speed6er. We talked for a while in the parking lot. After my friend left I went up to a stop sign to make a right turn onto the main road. Traffic was coming so I was stopped for a good 15 seconds. I then feel my car jerk forward. I thought I had let the clutch out. I then realized that my clutch was still to the floor. So I look back and this idiot was on my ass. He ran into the back of me. I was so pissed. I knew he didnt do much damage since he hit me going maybe 5mph. But I was gonna go off if he had cracked the rear bumper. So I opened my car door and got out in the middle of the road. There was a couple cars behind us in the line and I of course was in the front. Looked at him. He looked scared. Got down and inspected the car for a good 20 seconds. He goes "sorry about that...". There wasnt even a scratch on my car, smudge or dent. So I calmed down and said. You didnt mess anything up... 2 state troopers were sitting right by the road. They have to had seen this happen. So I went on my marry way. I hit every red light and of course the idiot is still behind me. I was thinking. oh god dont hit me again....

This guy looked a little "challenged". Not sure if he should have been driving in the first place!

i found out tonight that a MS CAI really makes a difference compared to stock air box(ran against my buddys MS6) and that i need more top end.

btw, i'm talking about racing. which i went 0-6 tonight because of no top end and the srt4's and mustang i ran had plenty, lol.

I cant wait. I want to see what the difference is with the internals only.

Finally installed my downpipe and atp tip today. All in 7 hours or so by myself. It was so easy just to take out the exh mani and then pull the stock dp out without loosening any of the motor mounts. I wish I had money for an AP and a tune now=/

rear end story

lol

We used to do an annual fun run up here with the local Focus group since we have a couple cross-over members, and a couple years ago one of the guys rear-ended the leader of that pack of cars at a stop sign, but not hard enough to cause any damage to either car, just egos...well about 15 minutes later the same guy didn't slow down enough for a curve and smacked a guardrail pretty good...effed his car up real good. the guy he had hit before thought it was karma

That sucks. I also had a guy come in my lane last night I just missed the side of the road tryin to get him from side swipping me. After I blew the horn a couple times he realized what he was doing. Bad day yesterday.

Finally got a day nice enough to lay on the driveway (if I'd been on the Mayflower, kids would be learning about Plymouth Beach, not Plymouth Rock).

Took advantage by installing the SU rear motor mount; used the how-to from this forum. Everything went smoothly, the hardest part was getting the old mount out. I had to pry the tabs a little to get it out, which made the install a little easier. No noticable increase in cabin vibrations. Shifts seem smoother, less flex in the driveline.

Yeah I had to do the same thing with mine. Had to use a metal pole to pry the engine a little bit so the old mount could come out. The vibrations will go down after a little while.

Mine doesn't vibrate at all anymore. Only sometimes when im sitting at a light on an upward incline. But I had my idle rpm moved up from the stock position to 850 and all vibs are gone.

Full detail today, bought manual tranny fluid for next weekend, added tinted license plate cover, removed rear bumper LED's (got water in them, no longer work), replaced OEM interior air filter, couldn't believe how dirty it was with only 31k on the car.

so i just installed the gold fin in my new HKS Version 3 BOV.. and let me just say its super loud, wouldnt recommend it to anyone who has crappy neighbors.. i had the regular silver fin in there that it comes with and it was a bit louder then Version 2, but the gold fin is far superior. now with all that said it is by far the best BOV ive had on the car as far as performance (so far), no fluttering unless its 1-5 psi, crisp clean sound all the time and no fluttering at high boost, which is good. ive tried almost every single bov that is made for the MS6 besides Turbosmart, and i always keep going back to HKS.

Washed my car when I got off work this evening. Pulled the car in the garage and started the fuel pump internals. Got all the wiring harness and vacuum tubes out of the way. Disconnected the fuel lines. Then realized I didnt have the E8 socket to remove the fuel pump!!

I went to drain my OCC and it was dry!! Looked around at the pcv lines and the one connecting to the IM had came off!! Sp pissed. Cuz now I have to remove the front bumper and the intake manifold just to get to it.

No wonder my forge has been fluttering for a while now. There is no vacuum to pull it up diring shifts... I hope I can do all this tomorrow. If not I will have to spread it out during the week.

For those who have done the internals. Where do you get this E8 socket?? Its like a 6 sided star. Ill try autozone, if not sears will have it.

i think i used a 6 mm or 5/16 or something with great success. sorry i cant remember the # but i just found a close enough socket.

dont blame me when they strip though. haha.
