After tinkering with the audio in the MS3...

I've noticed a few things.

After replacing the front speakers and running a LOC, amp, and small sub the stereo does suck but gets the job done. Gets the job done by sounding pretty good and not cutting out, etc but but sucks when it adjusts the levels weird when you turn up the volume, etc. You hear it more when you have better speakers.

I've read that you don't have to replace the rear speakers but after replacing the fronts you definitely notice there is a difference especially when it comes to clean sounds from the front and muddiness with the rear. I think it is necessary to replace them.

Lastly, why does the crap HU skip so damn much when listening to CDs? It is absolutely annoying!(help) Anybody remedy this? I don't really want the added attention or price of a new aftermarket HU/kit/wiring.

If you still have warranty left, I'd try to get the HU replaced if CD's skip a lot. That's usually a mechanical problem unless you have super bumpy roads or something.

Yeah... I think the whole time I had my stock HU I had a cd skip one time! And I live in wisconsin, the land of pot holes and bumpy roads.
