Need Color Advice

:
06 LS MS6
07 BM GT (shell has been struck from the roll)
Got lucky yesterday and scored a set of RX-8 wheels wearing Kumho SPT with like 80% tread +
I have a bit of rash to remove, then.........

I was going to get gloss black Powder coat, but..
How about PC in Flat black or Satin. is that possible?
Or, I have painted a set in the past, that Wheel Paint Advance sells is pretty hard stuff. I could try a match to Black Mica and clear coat with the tough stuff

Any black Mica owner thoughts ???

The car becomes darker and stealthier all the time

Metal flake black PC.
I would not waste my time or money with rattle can.
I would at least shoot them with two part paint, and even then, I would not expect that to last, especially if you have the tires changed. They'll almost certainly nick them up during mounting.

I saw some of that at this place that wanted $100 a wheel, it looked ok, but the flakes were big, and not evenly dispersed

What like a bass boat or something?

Nah, more like .. the effect reminded me of oven porcelin. not that bad of course, but like that

As soon as I can find a way to put my car up on jacks for 7 days or borrow someone's MS3 stock wheels here in Houston, I'm going to powdercoat my stock wheels flat/matte black. At about 75$/wheel it's pretty affordable + I love the stock design on the 2010 MS3

that seems to be the bottom end of the going rate, I keep getting quotes of 100/wheel

Which is more than I paid for the wheels with newish tires !!!!
