What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I'm so jealous....

I desperately want to have enough snow that only my little car and 4x4 trucks are on the road. I'll bet a front-mounted intercooler would do wonders if you were also shoveling snow into it! :D

Got the new windshield put in this morning right before school, insurance ended up paying almost half... Cost me only $200(alright)

St. Louis is supposed to get a bit of snow tonight (6"). I'm pretty pumped to go have some fun! Didn't D.C. get close to three feet?

And they have 2 salt trucks.

STL was the crazy when it snowed. The roads were never cleared and people drove either 8 or 80 mph.

We're supposed to get 6-12" by Wed. night. Looking forward to a little sideways action in the big open lot near my house.

Washed mine off today, found some gunk on the pass. front door which I couldn't get off with the power washing wand. Still slacking on the oil and rotation, but not putting a lot of miles on it so it's not a huge deal.

Also noticed that my drivers seat rocks a little bit. May need to check the frame bolts to see if they've worked loose.

Sent it through the wash. Guy burned the hell out of the clutch pulling it out.

Wish they had one of those washes where you never get out of you car. They had one back at my old college. You could even have the thing put on tire shine. It did a better job than the guys working there doing it by hand.

Mine has been doing that for a while. Not all the time (usually when I am pushing the clutch in at a stop), but enough to notice. I checked the frame mounting bolts, and all the ones I could reach easily without removing the seat from the car or stripping the leather off. All were tight, so I'm living with it for now. Let us know if you figure out what is causing it.

Given we all know the MS6 clutches are a pain, I don't understand why so many folks go into situations where they let others drive their car, and then complain. Work around it guys!

I'm hoping its an easy fix, but I fear that it's in the rails themselves, not the frame bolts. I plan on taking a lot of time on Sat. to get into the car and work on things, so that's on my laundry list of things to look into/fix.

A bit harsh there . . .

If I had an alternative I would take it.

Sorry, it wasn't meant to be (too easy to be misunderstood on the 'Net). All I'm saying is there is always some other way. Talk to the owner and explain to him that there is a great chance of one of his employees burning up your clutch, so if possible you would like to drive it in yourself. Bump him up by telling him that is your favorite wash etc.

Theres a TSB for this......
