What have you done to your MS3 today?

Does your HKS intake have air straightners in it?

I have one in my garage that I used to run before I blew up my motor and I forgot to check to see if it had them when I removed it and replaced it with a Cobb SRI. I'd check mine but its deep in a box in the rafters along with my CP-E CAI lol.

Well, the black backing plate which is against the filter has a cone shaped piece which is supposed to funnel air. Does that count as an air straightener?

So how do you like the ride compared to stock? How is low speed damping? I'm seriously considering a set of H&R coils, but I DD my car and still want a good ride.

it's noticeably stiffer than stock but not uncomfortable at all. only had a chance to drive it around the city and cruise the freeway a bit, but it seems perfectly fine for a DD. slightly more noise and vibration on rough pavement but again, nothing terrible. haven't had a chance to test it out in the curves, but that's coming soon! overall a stiffer and more planted feeling which is what i wanted. gonna write a full review once i get some more miles on them...

and that progress sway bar sounds nice! definitely on my list.

These coils do awesome on sharp turns. Got to see this in person with a local member during a night cruise lol.

I put one of those in my MSCAI a couple three months ago. It's a bitchkitty to get to stay put in the position they recommend. The tubing is just a hair too big, so it wants to rotate. I'm afraid to use foreign material to pad it out as it is post filter and if any of it worked its way loose it could end up in the turbo or maybe even someplace further downstream.
I had to position the clamp just right to catch the straightener as well as the pipe and hose.

Today I power washed my engine. The grime was starting to get to me!

My new tires came in today, Falken FK452. I also confirmed the new color of my wheels with the shop and they should be done on friday. (cabpatch)

Nah, the whole wheel is being re-coated. They are a +35 offset just like the torques were. The tires are 225/35 19 UHP summers.

haha thanks! I just hit the 30k mark myself. It's frustrating that my buddy has an '07 with 12k miles. Must be nice having no commute to work! Good luck with the de-griming!
