I really want to get 1, but i hear there is a lil stumbling at idle or stall or something and does anyone have a SS AFC map for the 626 mod

im running it, no rough idle or anything and im running the original SSAFC map
ill try to get a pic of it on the car, all i have is a pic of the manifold itself

i painted it black since i got it off a 2000 626 it wasnt in the best of shape
but power wise, its pretty sweet, the turbo def spools up a little faster (may be in my head) and it pulls alot smoother and harder now

im going to try to get my wastegate problem sorted out and then ill let you know how it feels on 10psi :D

Ive got one and its great. When its cold outside the car stumbles a lil but after the engine is warm its all good. Def improvement in mid-range bottom feels a lil dead to me though.

Cool are you running the Supermap , looks good. So 2000 and up can fit the msp stock fuel rail, egr tube

Bottom end until 4000 rpm is kinda sluggish, but after 4000 it takes care of business. I still think removing the VTCS off the stock MSP manifold is a better "overall" gain as you keep most of your low end and still gain mid and top.

+1 on the stumbling in the cold. You feel a real difference in the top end. One of the best mods I've ever done. Install is not too hard either. Bottom is alright but from 3k-6k its a beast.

hmm. this is interesting. subing.

Wouldnt u get a CEL if u remove the VTCS?

Now can someone get me a pic of this runner with a b-series honda engine runner as well i wonder if they match up anywhere. The miata guys are trying this, and if they see a increase in numbers it might be worth looking into for us. At least it will clear up alot of room back there if made right.
