The brushed aluminum is vinyl too. Thinking about doing my roof with it...
Damn crhis that looks good. I want to do some interior parts too. I seen the parts Trevor got done. He said it was pretty expensive.

raj it is but compared to having custom pieces made.
i think a few years back bmw was using this in the e46. its so identical looking/feeling. i'll get pics of it tomorrow if there's one in stock.
The problem, Josh, is that the Protege is a MUCH different product than the RX-8. The RX-8 was made much better and with better quality materials than the Protege. I've yet to come up with a way to add CF trim to my car without it totally looking RICE, and keep it subtle and tasteful, something you've done with your RX-8 in spades...
Circuit, Use a little heat to tighten the top corners of the wrap were it bubbles out. That should fix it.
Flyin, you really think so? I loved the subtle look of CF in my P5. Then again, I understand some people either love or hate CF. Personally I'm just not a fan of faux materials.
I am a self-professed CF *****
They have meetings for people like you. They say the first step is accepting it.
I know. They wanted it to settle a bit and then fix all the corners. I don't like the DGM pieces because they just stick on, and there have been tons of complaints about fitment quality.
Don't get me wrong, I agree that real CF is MUCH better than faux materials. I am a self-professed CF ***** - I love the stuff. I'm currently experimenting on how I can incorporate it into my MSP without it coming across as RICE or tacky. I think yours looked great, but I don't want slabs of CF all over the place, but rather use it as an accent - much as you have on your RX-8 (LOVE the dash lining and the CF next to the seats).
I have some ideas and will be trying them out over the next few months. I need it to warm up a little bit before I can start making my own CF trim...
