Hello. I'm new to the forum, just wanted to introduce myself. I have a mazda protege 01 everything stock at the moment. Ah love the forums though amazing pics and info.

what up decided to change it up a bit so went ahead and got the rims painted gunmetal but left the lip and the nut for the center cap silver. came out pretty good. well worth the time.. lemme know what yawl think

Yeah i love how the rims came out, really clashes well with the silver/black i'm gonna do n all the carbon fibeR. as for the new setup up its lookin nice its def a big improvment over the MAM manifold thats been thru hell over the last three years lol but i'm b runnin an open dump for awhile til i get sick of my engine bay gettin dirty lol. then it'll run somewhere out the passenger side behind front wheel. as for the hotpipe setup if u notice i have the compressor side facing down so i dont haveta change that too much n its diff from the msp setup runnin the pipes along top of the mani. has a very clean look i'm lovein it!!!

sorry its been awhile finally got my car back with the new setup its great.... i love it with the hiboost mani and runnin open dump i have no lag at all and she spools instantly its lovely. heres a few updated pix excuse the engine bay a lil messy n that vac line isnt connected cust my boost controller is holdin the wastegate shut and causing over boost. but i have her set at 9psi and it feels really nice cant wait to turn it back up to 12 after i get the mpi back on n tuned

Hmm, I suggest you start saving for some forge then. These motors been popping a lot latley, just a heads up.

lol, thats the problem, you already got 3 years under your belt, I'd imagine shes counting her days now. I don't mean to jinx you, but na proteges blow so you can imagine how a boosted ones last so you gotta keep it fresh in your head that is always a possibility, plus, forge means more power!

ohh trust me i constantly think that everytime i start her up u don even kno.. i'm like so ocd about the car i check everything a few times a day n i know it well enough that even the slightest difference in driving or sound or smell like right away.. but of course like any car it cud go at any moment. s*** my protege5 had it for like six years now have almost 140k on that engine n she still seems to do good n we travel alot n that one

Ah, you're only gonna run a gt25r, you'll be fine. This dudes turbo is like 3x bigger. lol.
