Caravan to ORANGE COUNTY CHOPPERS: All Mazda Meet 06.05.10

Kinda new here, but I'd be interested in coming along. Count me in?

Of course you are welcome.

Anna if I remember correctly the second crew had to wait for us to catch up cause you all sleep to late. What time are you planning to arrive at OCC?

i would do it also but i want to be there early to help out.

Funny. That's almost exactly why I don't want to be there early. I look forward to lending Ken a hand where I can, but after driving sixteen hours so that we could be stuffed into a room assembling handouts was kind of bulls***.

..just sayin'.

The hopefully learned their lesson from last year and will have most off this done before night before. Not being an ass but Justin has a point. Plus there are are lot of locals that could/should help. Now everybody hug.

I appreciated your help VERY MUCH and it wouldn;t have gotten done if you guys hadn't helped out, but it was all on a volunteer basis. you all could have left without any hard feelings

Well I'll make my decision on when I leave when it gets closer. Both have pros and cons. It will really depend on when the first group leaves Thursday since I will most likely have to work.

Don't misunderstand me, Storm... the problem was not, at all, with you. I'm all for helping out, but just hope this time is a little more organized- that's all.

We have plenty of volunteers this time, hopefully it all works out We'll be setting up friday night again, you guys are more than welcome to hangout, but please don;t feel obligated to help if you don;t want to. The fact that you guys are making the trek over is more than help enough. You guys definitely make the meet that much better

Anna: Lucas... he is trying to sell his car and i dont talk to him that often either...

lets hope it will be a good trip, meet and come back ;)

he is looking into getting a 2010 ms3. He says he is "bored" of his old car.

This is what happens when you own a mazda that keep breaking for reasons unknown to science.

Also Justin you know I am down for that 3am drive.

If your car didn't have to stop every 50 miles for gas we might not have to leave so early. Also please tell me the manifold is fixed.

I will be there. Also I can say with 99.9% certainty Nettie will not go.
You are off by .1%, but you got the basic idea.

The adventurous side of me wants to do the 3am driving marathon. The crotchety old F#$K side of me wants to do the relaxed two day drive. Stay tuned to see which side wins.

Well, keep in mind that the return trip will probably be made by all in one sitting... the more the merrier, as far as I'm concerned, but I can tell you that between driving to New York, then down through Jersey, and the back to Chicago I had done something absurd like 2100 miles in 108 hours or something. I definitely slept for 12 hours by the time I got home.

We didn't join the rest last year because I had a calc final that night, and Aric and Mike had to work... while we did save the money on one night's lodgings the other option is definitely the more relaxed way to go about it.

Okay for the Motrealers we will be there like last year with more people ... we will be leaving on the friday ridding Over night arriving around 12am - 1am I will keep posted and let you know about us on the main thread

My name is Frank. This will be my first meet so I'm pretty damn excited to meet and ride with you guys.
