Yes, pull in the opposite way, start at an angle, and go slowly. You won't scrape. It'll be worth it!

I must agree...I drive my car everywhere and although I may not be sitting as low as some, the JDP front does bring it down a lot...I never have problems...

Angle is everything. You'd be surprised how much clearance you gain by going at an angle over straight on.
