Right, but IMO if you have to have it, it looks better in the middle. Blends in, looks like it belongs, etc. Offset placement only serves to draw attention to it. Guess I don't have a FMIC to block though.

Thanks. I am actually being somewhat of a rebal right now. Took the plate off last weekend. Seeing how long it takes for me to get pulled. They shouldn't mess with me as long as I don't speed. Centered does block the flow to the IC but my stock mounting point was getting loose and flapping.

Do you park in a public place? I got (4) $50 tickets for no front tags (in DC) while my car was parked on the street. The 4th one I had the plate visible in the windshield.

They can ticket you when your parked?? Those bastards. I don't ever park on the street in public places though. I'm not near the city.

yea, since the windshield is a reflective surface... found out I could have gotten a worse fine for that and they didn't bust me for it, so I just paid the $50

ran my MX-6 for 6 years with no front plates. NEver got a ticket for it.
My MS6, going on 5 months now with no front plates, no ticket yet. *knocks on wood*

i cant stand front plates! just looks bad. i guess my car still looks sleeper enough to get away with it.
cop sees my car and thinks, "should i run em down? Nahhh its just some family sedan."

It did hurt to be the one to have to screw into my car's virgin bumper (previous owner was from DE I think) but it just got too expensive to run plateless.

I woulda found a different solution... I ditched the plate holder in favor of bolting the plate directly to the bumper

until the FMIC went in

interestingly enough, I'm standing no more than 5' apart between where those 2 picutures were taken. LOL
