NEMOC Random BS Thread

It still needs some time to cure and settle. Of course with the cold temps it takes a bit longer but most shops tell me wait at least a week. Now you just need to be ultra carefull not to scratch. ;)

Went skiing at Sunapee today. Had a great time till Mary fell and and hurt her knee. Will see tomorrow how she is doing.

Congrats on the new job Tony. Sounds like a great fit.

loooong day! had an interview in newton for a possible full-time gig, then had a phone chat with a potential client, then went to staples for 4 hours, then had a 2 hour meeting with an owner of a video production company, and didn't get home till 8...phew!

signing the lease on the apt tomorrow then heading to ct for dads/sisters birthdays!

btw, video production guy said i could use his heated garage with lift ;)

I finished unpacking the last box tonight!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Still haven't really figured out where everything is going but that'll come with time.

NY Auto Show anyone? ...April 2-11

Gonna be 40-45 degrees tomorrow...definitely giving the car a good washin'

Edit: wait...now they're saying 45-50 in CT...woot!

YESSSSSSSSSSSS.. I go on Good Friday.. I've gone the past 3 years, this will be the 4th. I usually go by train.. now that I'm further from New Haven I may pick a different station that's closer. Did I talk to you about this already? I feel like I did... maybe it was someone else...

yeah it looks so good right now i dont wanna even touch it . the first scratch is going to be hard to take.. but with so much clear on the car now i feel safe enough that i could get rid of most of the scratches when they do happen with Poorboy's SSR 1 no need for 2 or 3 unless someones really mean to my car.

Yeah, I'm sure we discussed it at some point. Just tossing the idea into everyone else's head (cuz it wasn't in Josh's thread, hint hint!)

2:30am, just got home from work and I'm WIDE awake but hopefully I can get to sleep by 3. I really do hate sleeping til 11am+

Going to be a great day tomorrow (Friday), warm, sunny. Got plans to wash the car, get a haircut, do some photoshooting around town with the new camera...then had back to work at 6pm(ugh!)

g'nite

The Javits is a great show. I'm sure if many of us lived closer we would go. I know I miss it. When to 3-4 of them myself back in the late 90s when I lived in western MA.

Oh yea, speaking of new cars...my dad just bought a new Pontiac G8 GT fully loaded in bright red. Thinking come spring I'll do a photoshoot with it, the Stealth RT/TT (also red), and my RX-8.

Morning all! Today is the day! Let's hope I get the job! Then if it all works out, Two weeks I will be a normal human being, with normal hours and be able to do actual normal things.....Like make more meets!! WOOT WOOT!!

You could call it a job bonus being able to make meets now. Hehe. That mean no rush to LRP and back?

Nice Mark! I might see The Book of Eli today. I like going to early shows on weekdays around here. There's usually only 5-10 people in the theater.

You're doing better than I am. I moved in October and I still have a mound of boxes to go thru. I told myself that none of it is extremely important and that I don't have to do it yet... until I'm looking for something. Most of it is going to get tossed out anyway.

Good morning folks.

Mark I saw the previews of that movie and I liked them.
Maybe going this weekend also.
I haven't seen Avatar yet so probably a double header.

Avatar just looks like Star Wars Episode I meets the Smurfs. I have lost interest in the CGI movie. I really enjoyed Star Trek though, and after watching the behind the scenes stuff I realized why...they built sets for everything and very little was CGI.

I cannot wait for Avatar to come to home media. Not because I'm going to buy it, so that people will STFU about it.

Sure, the technology is cool, the picture is pretty, that's fine. People go "Oooo" and "Aaaah" over every new piece of technology used in movie making. Nothing new here.

Avatar was awesome! It's not all CGI, and what is CGI is so life like you will be amazed. I really enjoyed all of it. The characters, storyline, etc. make it very unique.
