Aftermarket Molded carpets

Anyone know who makes a pre molded carpet for the Mazda6? I hate the cheap low grade carpet we have. It's impossible to get sand and dog hair out. I'm looking for something with a thicker pile. My MSP has great carpet, I have no idea why Mazda cheaped out on the newer gen cars. Maybe I'll buy my own carpet and cut it and mold it myself with a heat gun.

take ur car to an apholstry shop.. honestly the carpet is easy to remove and they could probably give u waht u want for a better price then u doing it yourself, and of course it would be less of a headache for u

The only car I ever redid the carpet on was my 88 CRX. A mid size car is a going to be a bigger job. I think I might tackle this on on my own. I might even change the color.

There is interest being gauged for such a kit http://mazda3carpet.com/2010-mazda3-carpet-kit/ either post on the blog or send an email.

Yeah dude, I live on the OBX, NC - one of 2 MS6's here and it fkn sucks to get sand out of the carpet. When I try using a high pressure vacuum, the carpet gets sucked out of the freakin floor since it's so cheap. I definitely might go the custom route soon.

does anyone else have a giant lump of padding wadded up under their carpet?? its almost comical.. im not sure what went wrong on this?? ill see if i can do it justice in a pic..
