broken mirror!!

so I went outside tonight and i looked in my drivers side mirror, and noticed it was cracked! .... ******* -35.

anyone know how to take the glass out of the damn thing? i assume glass from the dealer is going to be a pretty penny plus labor .... (argh) ... i'd rather do it myself ... if it is even possible =\

Wow, guess they are delicate, mine got smashed by either a kid with a bb gun or hit by a rock while I was mowing the grass. I tend to think the latter

I "fixed" it by cutting a piece of plate mirror (12x12) with a cardboard template to closely match the shape, and attaching it with a dab of silicone
