What car did you have at 16?

I def. OWN this.... I had a 1989 Saab 900 (non- turbo ) with a pontiac sunfire wing mounted on it, with a broken tachometer, so we estimated only about 50K original miles.... my dad was so proud of the car, bought it for $500 for me to have, put another $1500 into new paint, and I got to drive it around for 3 weeks, and then it didnt pass emisions, so we sold it for $5K, hahaha

88 dodge colt GTS turbo. its what i drove through all high school. (years before fast and furious s***) was the only boosted car in school, and the only person with any intrest in imports back then.

1988 Mazda RX-7 Convertable. White on white (anniversary rims) complete with two broken mufflers from sliding around turns, a nice musky smell from the leaky vert roof and exhaust fumes due to leaky exhaust at the cat. Oh how I miss you FC

OMG...I remember my 1986 Datsun pick up truck. 4SPD ftmfw!! The thing was so rusted that I could see the ground underneath the passenger side...ah good memories...especially for the girls in the cab in back...LOL

Then I ended up driving a Toyota Avalon throughout college...after graduation...I snagged me one of these puppies...

Man, we probably lived parallel lives during that time. I had a teg gsr too!!! and it had a similar setup like yours..except for the port and polish. Man I had fun with that car. I ordered a turbo kit for it and while it was in the mail, I let my sister drive it downtown one day to pay a bill and..BAM!! The car was hit by somebody trying to make a light before it turned red. All that work I did gone forever. Sold the turbo kit to a friend with a gsr and got an eclipse gsx..that's a whole new story..lol
